There is easy access to subways and taxis which is important in NYC. We felt safe walking around the area.
The hotel was extremely clean. The lobby is very tiny. It would have been nice to have a larger lobby with comfortable chairs where you could sit and relax and not have to stay in the room when you didn't go out. There was a bar/eating area so you can go down there and relax too. Every single person who works there smiled and always so helpful.
Overall, an exceptional experience.

This hotel was pleasantly close to the start of the 5 Boro Bike Tour which we were in town for. We walked to package pickup, to little Italy, China town and beyond from there. Got to see more of this end of town and was pleasantly surprised. Used the subway to get to uptown. This hotel small but provided all we needed. Rooms were very snug for 4 people and 3 bikes but we made due. The hotel restaurant was a nice surprise in such small hotel however they were not open late Sunday evening for a night cap. We left an item behind, they were able to locate it and mail it to us. Overall we had a good stay.

The staff is very welcoming and helpful. They were quick to respond to any questions or requests I had. Stella really went above and beyond. She not only gave me turn by turn directions, she was also able to suggest nearby places to eat and shop.
I was staying for a week for business so I wasn't in the room too much, so I recommend it especially if you know you'll be out and about sight seeing or doing business here.
The bathroom was a bit small, especially the sink, but nothing too uncomfortable.
It is conveniently located a few blocks away from the 9/11 memorial, Wall St, and about a 30 minute walk to Soho. Not to mention countless restaurants and coffee shops.
