Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Location Every time we are in the NJ area this is where we stay. Great location you can walk to restaurants and movie theaters. The hotel is clean comfortable and staff are friendly. There is free parking, but if you don't want to walk, they do have a closer parking for $10.00. We chose to pay because of the weather. The free parking is not that bad of a walk. Love this hotel. February 11, 2016

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by No Hot Water I had to take cold showers two days in a row. Hot water for showers is a requirement. Other people staying at the hotel had the same problem. I was very upset about the cold showers. I avoid this hotel when coming, but sometimes it's the only one I can get so I have to stay there. We were able to leave a day early, so I didn't have to face another day of cold showers. I stay at other Holiday Inns and Holiday Inn Express all the time and never have as many problems as this one. They said that they were going to give me 5000 poiints for the trouble, but the points never showed up in my account. They told some of my coworkers that they would get 20,000 points. I wonder if they ever got them. I definitely don't trust this hotel and would avoid staying there if possible. January 29, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Heroes The hotel was great! They are very close to the convention center. The room was nice, clean, exactly what we expected. Unfortunately, once the convention was cancelled late Friday night, we decided to leave before the worst of the snow storm hit. The hotel was very gracious. They didn't charge us parking and didn't give us a hard time about cancelling the 2nd night on our reservation. I'm returning to this hotel again in July for the rescheduled convention! On a different note - it was the best chicken parm we've ever had for dinner! January 28, 2016

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent Modern Hotel I had a great 2 night stay at the Holiday Inn Secaucas. Check in was easy and efficient. The rooms are large and comfortable and I loved the fridge and microwave. The property was modern, clean and has a friendly helpful staff. The proximity to NYC is a 15 minute bus ride to Port Authority. I would definitely stay there again! January 3, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Comfortable rooms - overall great hotel I stay at this hotel 4 times a year for a week each visit. I was so happy to have the restaurant return after a brief shutdown; however the service is awful!! The one night I chose to eat in the hotel restaurant during my weeks stay, I waited more than 15 mins to even be given a menu, waited another 30 mins for my food to be delivered. Then I waited nearly an hour for my check to come. A last minute request for a dessert was not the right option as I waited 30 mins for a scoop of ice cream...that I ended up not waiting for, I mean come on, how hard could it be to scoop ice cream!! The hotel itself is great, I love the service and the comfort; the front desk staff are so sweet as are the shuttle drivers. The breakfast buffet staff are also wonderful...the dinner staff is my issue and the service is ridiculous. December 28, 2015
