Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Not the service we have previously experienced with brand Holiday Inn hotel, Holiday Inn staff but not Holiday Inn service. Hotel looking clean and tidy. Slept well. Staff battling admirably with restaurant refurbishment, not helped by inaccuracies of central booking over adjustments. Food still good quality and range is excellent but make sure you are not in a rush. May 13, 2015
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Disappointing I was very disappointed by my stay at the Holiday Inn in Woking. However I have to emphasise that this had nothing to do with the staff and the service I received from the staff in the hotel they were lovely! So though it is true that rude staff can spoil even the most beautiful surroundings equally lovely professional staff cannot make up for poor surroundings and food. I was staying on business and I have stayed before - the benefit is the proximity this hotel has to my offices. On this occasion that was the only benefit! The hotel is tired and I was allocated a disabled room which just as a standard room would not meet the needs of someone in a wheelchair - a disabled room does not suit someone ablebodied. The room was tired and got very warm through the night. It was noisy and there was no drinking water in the room - I have no problem being charged for bottled water in the room but I like to have it available. The final straw was the fact that when I went for breakfast everything was finished and I had no time to wait. There was no bar area with seating to relax with colleagues - though I understand the hotel is undergoing refurbishment. May 11, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Poor customer service Having mistakenly booked the wrong hotel and realising 30 minutes after the 4 O'clock cutoff, I would have expected the hotel to have no issue in transferring the reservation to the Holiday Inn that I actually required. Unfortunately they were unwilling to help me transfer to the correct Holiday Inn. With the amount I go to Holiday Inns I would have expected better. My mistake, but I would have expected the hotel to work as a group in rectifying my issue rather than acting as an individual hotel when it suits. May 11, 2015

Not happy with the Restaurant on the Saturday night, they did not have enough staff to deal with the number of guests, so very slow service. When you have young children a meal should not take over 3 hours! May 7, 2015
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Good nights sleep The hotel was clean and tidy - beds very comfortable. Staff friendly and mostly helpful. Unfortunately we stayed on a Saturday night, restaurant being refurbished and service at dinner was awful; breakfast was excellent though. I would return and hope the evening restaurant service would vastly improve. May 6, 2015

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by yyyyy due to the business reasons applicable check out was not an issue - this being I was prepared for such event On leaving the Holiday Inn - after the business event there were x3 attendants behind the counter - on behalf on another guest, he had a problem with the booking receipt (just to point out that reception staff behind the counter could not see that there were issues and did not come forward to possibly enquire if there was an issue - this I do not expect to happen when not trained to recognise an issue at hand) Yes, reception cannot account for all issues but being able to recognise - but, there is opportunity for reception staff to note such action. I have seen this service elsewhere and inclusion just for you reference. Thank you. Thank you May 1, 2015
