There were times that I wanted to stay at this hotel in the past, but ended up for various reasons I chose other IHG hotels. Finally I was able to spend a night trying out this hotel, and I was
surprised by the overall high quality of this Holiday Inn hotel. This made me regret so much that I have not chosen to stay here when I was in Seoul before.
There is an Airport Limousine Bus stop right outside the hotel, and it takes a pretty short time to travel between the hotel and the airport. By looking at the map, I got a feeling that there is nothing around the hotel, but ended up I found many different restaurants. Even more, I found a supermarket and Lotte Mart within walking distance.
The hotel staffs could speak good English, and they were friendly and welcoming enough to provide an excellent onboarding experience as a whole. The front desk lady was obviously well-trained to handle guest check-in and check-out processes, and I would say she has done a much better job than what should be required for the Holiday Inn level of quality.
The guest room was new and clean (because this is a relatively new hotel). The view was still good because the construction sites nearby have not yet blocked the view of the Incheon Bridge. The interior design of the guest room was modern and elegant, which actually I would say it is much more better than what I would expect from the Holiday Inn brand.
One thing to improve, might be to add a clearer sign at the subway station, pointing the guests to the right floor for check-in, because the front desk of this hotel is not on the 1st floor.
Overall I would give full marks to this hotel and the staffs, and this has been the most satisfying stay experience of mine at the IHG properties in the recent 2 years. If I have chosen this hotel for my past stays in South Korea, I would have been much happier. Definitely I recommend this hotel, and it will be my first consideration when I go to Seoul again. [Less]
