This hotel is conveniently near the Kensington High Street Tube station, with many shops nearby (including a Marks & Spencer and a Whole Foods). You can take the Picadilly line from Heathrow and
change at Earl's Court to get to the airport in one hour. Very convenient. (Not worth it to take the express through Paddington. It only saves you 20 min for a lot more money). One nice touch about the hotel is it offers outlets that you can plug your iphone or whatever device into so you don't need to bring an AC/DC adaptor with you. Small thing, but every gram counts when you have to lug your bags from the airport by the tube. The staff was friendly and the room was clean. We booked well in advance so were able to get a reasonable price (helped by the low pound).
You have to expect the room is very small and crammed in. This is London after all. The most glaring problem we had was that the WiFi signal was very poor. I mean, you can get some signal, but if you want to do anything that requires bandwidth, you can forget about it. Also, I wish they offer an option not to wash our towels every day. We do care about the environment and it does influence our choice of hotel. Aside from this, we would gladly stay there again. [Less]
