I stayed here for one night on a business trip. I chose it for its nearness to Lime Street Station, and then on price. The outside is so unprepossessing that, even though I have lived in the city, I
had no idea it was there. Inside the lobby was attractive and the receptionist was both charming and helpful. The high speed lift had me on the ninth floor almost before I pressed the button. The room was absolutely fine, massive comfortable bed, plenty of lights, dressing table/desk, hairdryer, iron and ironing board, very nice bathroom - but the view! I could see clear over to Wales in the distance and in the foreground was the magnificent St George's Hall in all its glory.
I was surprised that there was a restaurant in the hotel where dinner was served until eleven. I was seated by a window with another amazing view, the food was delicious, the service was second to none and the price
and the price extremely reasonable, less than thirty pounds for three courses, with wine and coffee.
Overall I couldn't rate this hotel too highly on every possible count.
