Regular Visitor to this Hotel. Felt my last 2 visits it has been letting some of its standards slip.
On checking in, not recognised as a Platinum Member and not offered point or a drink. In a Club
Lounge Room, not given my Club Lounge Card on check in.
Slippers missing in my room (last twice - this has happened).
Knew the hotel was busy so came down late for breakfast to avoid the biz, good Idea as it was quiet which I though would prove beneficial.
Shown to a table, not offered Coffee or Tea. When I went to select my food many of the items were missing. Came back with some Bacon and Toast, went back later and got some hash browns and beans a further trip and I was able to finally get a fried egg.
This hotel in the past has set a very good standard but when so many little things start to be missed by different members o f staff it gets annoying.
Mentioned all of these points on check out and was met with a very bland I will pass your comments on to staff.
Really expect more for this class of hotel, especially as there was a big IHG Training Conference onsite at the time.
Will use next time I am in Newcastle but would hope for a big improvement. [Less]
