This Holiday Inn certainly meets the minimum standards of an IHG property, however, it is located in a run-down, filthy area of LA populated by a large number of homeless. The hotel is an oasis in
the area, but you feel like you have made it out of a war zone and into a relatively safe foxhole each time you return to the property. The staff was friendly and receptive. The shuttle service has not established a schedule and that may work when there isn't a major convention or event in town, but otherwise, it was not really convenient to use as the availability fluctuated so you couldn't depend on it.
Food choices were good for breakfast, but if breakfast starts at 6:30 it should be fully ready by 6:30 and not 6:45, etc. And the evening complimentary snacks were adequate, but not what I am used to at a HI property when they are offered. And there was no wine offered as advertised on Tuesday and Thursday evening. [Less]
