I love the design of this hotel! Javier at the front-desk was kind enough to a beautiful, high-floor junior sweet that was both spacious and comfy.
The Jonathan Adler amenities were lovely, as
was the comfy bed and omnipresent, opinionated design of the hotel.
The pool and outside area on the 4th floor was also fantastic! We thoroughly enjoyed playing table tennis, corn hole, and more after the busy days out.
There were a couple service quirks that clouded our otherwise excellent stay--namely, we asked for ice and they said it would be a room service order (?) would take an hour or two. I find it weird that a hotel would charge for the simple act of bringing ice to the room, and that it take that long. I just went to the ice machine and got some myself, but was miffed to say the least at that. But, that was minor to when I requested a few wine glasses and a wine opener and still did not receive them an hour later. I called again, requested again, and an hour after the second call (2 hours after the first), someone finally knocked on my door with wine glasses, but no wine opener!! When I asked what took so long, he said it was a room service order and they were busy. I don't understand why any employee couldn't just bring me the wine glasses and an opener, and it definitely is a major service issue that I'd have liked to not deal with. [Less]
