We stayed at this hotel in September 2016 and came back in June 2017. It is a nice place to stay the night. Hotel staff is friendly and helpful. The lady at breakfast was there constantly popping in
and asking if we needed anything. It is one of the best free breakfast selections we have seen. Some people in our group said they prefer waffles (at most hotels) over the pancakes (auto pancake maker at this hotel) - but I don't eat either, as I prefer protein for breakfast. I enjoyed a nice omelet and a sausage patty.
There is only ONE, very slow, elevator; however it didn't become a problem any of the times we needed it. The room was very nice - a suite on the 3rd floor. Loved all the space and the layout. King bed was comfortable enough; however the sheets are low quality and pilly and not soft at all. The pillows, to me, were awful and I kept waking up in pain (my neck) due to not being able to get comfortable on the pillow. Other than that, we did love the room.
I wrote this as a complaint in the review I did in September, and it is still a complaint: the doors SLAM. I am not the only one that noticed. I didn't even bring it up this time, and lots of people in our group complained about slamming doors waking them up all night. The room doors need silencers! The hotel was full due to what appeared to be a lot of baseball families plus our skydiving group, and there were doors slamming all night long. Seriously. It's loud. Bring ear plugs.
Other than the pillows, bed sheets, and slamming doors, our stay was great, our room was great, the staff was great, and the breakfast was great! The pool is nice, but it is awful hot [Less]
