Mixed Feelings
By KLWaco
Honestly, this hotel was very pretty. It was new, nicely decorated, and the room was outstanding. My coworkers and I enjoyed our impromptu night out together. However, I did have an issue during my [More] stay. I understand, from a business perspective, how there are regular guests/customers. However, if another guest has a problem relating to said regular, it needs to be handled with respect and courtesy. The staff was kind and considerate for the rest of my stay, however I had an issue with some regular's children that were playing in the fitness room. Probably around the age of 11 or 12, they were racing each other on the treadmills and hanging off of the ellipticals. It is a liability if the children were to get hurt, if they were left unattended. As a guest wanting to enjoy my time away from work, I was very agitated by them. They turned the volume up on the tv and were making a lot of noise while I was trying to watch a video and work out on the elliptical and bicycle equipment. I left the fitness center prematurely due to their behavior. When letting the staff know that I was done and they shouldn't be left unattended according to policy, I was told that they are regulars so they are an exception to the rule. I was a little upset, taking it as: if they are regulars it was okay if they disturb other guests. I left with a semi-bitter taste in my mouth. I understand that I never fully brought my problem to their attention, but felt after that response what was the point. I also never received my 300 welcome amenity points as a gold member. As an IHG employee, I work hard for my points. The hotel itself was very relaxing. The rooms were very pretty and the lobby was nice too. I do recommend this hotel to anyone that wishes to have a nice stay. But I left feeling less valuable as an IHG employee/ points night guest than the regulars. [Less]
Quiet and Comfortable (Mostly)
By A__K
The room was well-appointed and clean. We used the kitchen which functioned perfectly - several things we didn't realize we would need like a cutting board and bottle opener were fortunately [More] supplied. The bathroom has one of the best setups of all the IHG hotels we've stayed at and was so wonderful for getting ready in the morning. My general request was for a quiet room on an upper floor which was somewhat met, as there was a linen closet and board room on one side, although there was a large family with multiple children on the other. I slept great until the family started getting ready at 7am by being loud in their room (audible from ours) and then by multiple family members going in and out of the room and slamming the door. Aside from that, the stay was perfectly relaxing and we would stay again. [Less]
Very friendly staff

The room was clean and comfortable and the WiFi was good. I was disappointed with the price hike just for the weekend of spring break. [Less]

You won't regret this choice

This hotel Indigo was a great choice! The hotel was beautiful and the parking was a breeze. Our room was modern and comfortable with a great shower and a make up mirror! We walked easily to the [More] Silos at Magnolia and there was a great restaurant on site as well as other fun choices nearby. Beautiful outdoor seating area and lots of fun touches everywhere. The entire staff at this hotel are awesome. We stay here whenever we are in Waco and each staff member makes us feel like we are family and have just come home! The hotel is clean and comfortable and [More] it is obvious that the people here care very much about the hotel and the guests! [Less]

Great room and breakfast.
By Galen24
Room was great, clean and comfortable. Only issue was no internet. Desk forwarded me to a help desk that never answered. I'm in IT so it wasn't on my end. Prefer hotel correct issues and not the [More] guest. [Less]
