Featured Buenos Aires Hotels

Stay at our Holiday Inn Express® hotels in Buenos Aires to explore graceful Beaux-Arts architecture and affordable museums. You'll soon be soaking in the street scene on the city's wide, leafy boulevards or relishing a tango performance at an atmospheric nightclub.

Known as the "Paris of South America," cosmopolitan Buenos Aires is a web of distinctive barrios (neighborhoods). Plaza Dorrego in San Telmo and Florida Street in Microcento are just two of many pedestrian-friendly areas convenient to our hotels in Buenos Aires. You're close to the National History Museum, a free collection of classical paintings in a 19th-century villa, and the Carlos Gardel Museum, which honors an icon of tango music. For the price of a quarter you can take an unforgettable ride on one of the subway's antique A-line cars.

Our Buenos Aires hotels make it easy to hunt for bargains in San Telmo and on Florida Street, where shops are nestled next to cafes. Sip a glass of robust Malbec from the vineyards in Mendoza and sample some of Argentina's famously tender beef hot off the parilla (grill). On weekends, Plaza Dorrego boasts the city's best market, rivaled only by those in Recoleta and Mataderos. Accomplished painters set up open-air studios on the streets, selling original works of art at starving-artist prices. Buenos Aires parties past dawn, and our hotels in Buenos Aires are close to old-school tango performances at Viejo Almacen and fashionable hotspots with pulsing DJ-driven sounds.

Book a room at one of our Holiday Inn Express Buenos Aires hotels to experience the city's round-the-clock zest for life. Come in August for the Tango Festival, or in March for SuperclÁsico matches, which pit the city's pro soccer teams against one another.

Superior staff
By Wroot
Your wonderful staff at the Intercontinental Buenos Aires more than makes up for deficiencies in guest rooms. Rooms on the 5th and 9th floor particularly are worn, dusty, an in need of repair. Water [More] damage to wooden floors in many rooms have caused buckling. Mattresses are in need of replacement. Carpets are worn and stained. Forttunately, General Manager Thane and his staff are gregarious and welcoming. From the front desk, to the concierge, to the restaurant/bar, the service staff is customer focused. [Less]
Some rooms need work
By Dennis
Rooms on the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th floor are horrible. Carpeting is old, moldy, dirty, rippling, and smelly. Pillows are comfortable but very small. The rooms on these floors need remodeling badly as [More] they do no fit the Intercontinental Brand. Air crew need to receive credit for our stays. We can easily recommend or not recommend this hotel and people listen. We should be able to receive night credit just like every other business customer or we can recommend to our company to take our business elsewhere. Maybe a 2night stay for one next get credit could be a good compromise. [Less]
