Featured Santiago Hotels

Relax in one of our hotels in Santiago, within easy reach of the regal Plaza de Armas square and the bustling Mercado Central. In no time you'll be eating fresh seafood and sipping a citrusy pisco sour.

Walk or take the funicular up to Cerro San Cristóbal, topped by a statue of Christ, for views of Santiago's cityscape and the snow-capped Andes. Our Santiago hotels are near the colonial-era Plaza de Armas, a gathering place for chess players, shoe shiners and street entertainers. It's a great spot to watch the passing parade. If you've only time for one museum, make it the Chilean Museum of Pre-Columbian Art, which spotlights ancient South American cultures. Try to do your sightseeing on the weekends-most museums are free on Sunday but closed on Monday.

Join the throngs in the Mercado Central, a 19th-century market hall where fishmongers lure you to their good-value marisquerías (seafood stands). It's easy to reach the historic center from our Santiago hotels. Here you can take your pick of little hole-in-the-wall picadas. These family-run eateries dish up Chilean comfort food like hearty bean stews and seafood empanadas (pastries). Santiago's best deal is the menú del día, a set lunch menu. For late-night partying and pisco sours, hit the cafés, bars and discos in the bohemian Bellavista neighborhood. Take a breather in the hilltop gardens of Cerro Santa Lucía, dotted with palms, sculptures and fountains. Our Santiago hotels are a quick hop from Parque Quinta Normal, where the locals go picnicking on weekend afternoons.

Stay at our Holiday Inn Express® hotels in Santiago to plug in to the city's non-stop buzz. Come in January for jazz festivals and in July for colorful parades and parties of the Feast Day of the Virgen del Carmen.

Good for business trip
By jdawgjp
Nothing very fancy about this hotel, but suitable for business trips. Located in a nice area of Santiago, so is convenient. They do not provide water in the rooms, and the welcome drink is a bottle [More] of water (not alcohol as it is in other IHG hotels worldwide), but the room are adequate. The breakfast is limited and repetitive, but acceptable. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, certainly the best part of the hotel experience. [Less]

Very nice hotel in a great location
By Jopo41
The people who work in this hotel are very cordial and helpful. They go out of their way to help you be comfortable. The room was comfortable and clean. The location is wonderful. You can easily [More] walk to a variety of restaurants and to the tallest building in South America for a view of the whole city where you can find an upscale mall and a super market on the lower floors. The hotel provides a very good breakfast and many ither amenities. If you need transportation, it is available very close to the hotel. [Less]
Convienent to Airport
By Larry585
We have stayed at the Holiday InnAirport previously and chose it for its location and close proximity to the airport. We were travelling with two elderly people which required wheel chair [More] assistance. Staff were very accomodating in helping with baggage and wheel chairs. Our flight did not depart until 7:30 PM the following day and were gracious enough to allow us a later checkout than the norm which allowed the elderly to rest in the comfort of their room. Dining in the dining room was very good, food was excellent and hot which is not always the case in a hotel dining room. [Less]
