Featured Beijing Hotels

Beijing is the capital of the People's Republic of China and one of the most popular tourist destinations in the world.
Despite the modern façade, the city's endless array of historic attractions is the real draw here.
One could spend days, if not their entire Beijing hotel stay, exploring its beautiful palaces, temples and landscapes. Choose your Holiday Inn Express® hotel in Beijing wisely, and you'll get the most out of your trip to this fascinating city.

Beijing's simple grid-like layout and abundance of public transportation make it easy to navigate.
However, the city is heavily congested with traffic.
Your best bet is to focus on one area of Beijing at a time.
Dong Cheng's central location and numerous attractions make it a great place to start.
This district is home to Tiananmen Square, the National Museum of China, Temple of Confucius and the Forbidden City.
This "city within a city" was the private residence of Ming and Qing emperors and their families for more than 500 years.
A good portion of the city is in disrepair (and closed to the public), but the grand palaces, hallways and courtyards that remain are sure to impress.
South of Tiananmen, you'll find the Temple of Heaven, where Chinese emperors used to perform religious ceremonies.
Today, the temple serves as a tourist attraction and large public space, and you're more likely to see Tai Chi performed in mass on the front lawn than any ancient rituals.

Beijing's universities and the high-tech industries of ZhongGuanCun (dubbed "China's Silicon Valley") can be found north of the city in the Haidian district.
Haidian is also home to the Summer Palace and its magnificent gardens.
Of course, no Beijing hotel stay is complete without a trip to the Great Wall of China, one of the Seven Wonders of the World.
The views from the popular Badaling section are worth the crowds and tourist kitsch.

If you prefer the hustle and bustle of modern day Beijing, don't worry.
The city offers plenty of shopping, dining and entertainment options too.
Load up on souvenirs at the famous Panjiayuan Market, then follow the glow of red lanterns to the snack shops of Gui Jie (Ghost Street) for inexpensive Chinese dumplings and Peking duck.
If you're truly daring, venture to the Wangfujing Night Market and sample local delicacies like scorpions, sea cucumbers and deep-friend grasshoppers.
Beijing nightlife can accommodate just about any traveler's taste.
Enjoy cocktails and twilight boat rides on Houhai Lake, trendy dance clubs in the Sanlitun district, and traditional Beijing Opera is the city's theatres and tea houses.

Book one for our hotels in Beijing today and start planning your trip to this truly unique destination.

Comfortable bed

Easy access for other shopping area. Relative higher cost on the breakfast. Very good service of asking for a taxi to airport. [Less]
Nice hotel and great staff
By Chris2929292352351
I have been staying at this hotel multiple times. Every time the staff is very nice and polite, adding the little extra for a joyful stay. The beds are nice and comfortable, with the ability to [More] choose hardness of the pillows. Breakfast is good. [Less]
Overall Experience
By Ewjc
Overall Experience is good. Counter - reception both ladies tried their best to help me solving the breakfast order. Very good attitude and friendly. Lobby decoration is quite well. All staff [More] here are good. One thing that I was not happy to the 28th breakfast at 0645 and found a lady chef who put the plastic bag with dumpling inside to the hot water unfreezing and used the same hot water for other guests noodle ordering. How come to be like that? The plastic bag with red colour and also with dirt, then put into hot water for serving to the guests? This is really not unhealth. By the way, please pay attention to this event. Others are ok here. Food nice and good than other holiday inn. [Less]
Good Position

The hotel has good location, roughly the service, however the checkin speed as a bit of slow, no impliment fruit was provided as golden member. [Less]
Pleasant Stay, good sleep
By Vivek M
The reception staff was kind enough to make a room available for us much before the specified check-in time. This was really helpful, as we were tired after an overnight flight and an early morning [More] arrival into Beijing. We only had to sit in the lobby lounge for 30 min before the room was made available to us. The room itself was up to typical Holiday Inn standards. The bed and pillows were comfortable, and the bathroom amenities sufficient. My only suggestion would be to improve the English language skills of the concierge and restaurant staff (especially the Teppanyaki restaurant) as this would make communicating with foreign guests easier. The breakfast menu has decent variety to suit all tastes. There are western options (including made to order eggs) and plenty of coffee machines available so one can have their fill. Overall, it was a a good stay. We slept well and ate well. [Less]
Clean, comfortable and relaxing
By Clementine241
Greatly enjoyed this Holiday Inn. Fast check-in and the rooms were ready. Clean rooms, good internet and plenty of hot water. Had some difficulty communicating with housekeeping - but that was due [More] to my lack of language ability. [Less]
