Featured Berlin Hotels

Today's Berlin is a modern and culturally vibrant city, brimming with beautiful architecture, world-class arts and a thriving nightlife scene.
Not to mention, a profusion of museums, monuments and attractions to explore during your Holiday Inn Express® Berlin hotel stay.

Few vestiges remain of the wall that once divided the German capital, and visitors move freely about the city, often unaware which side they are on. Perhaps the most impressive feat is the speed in which Berlin rebuilt itself.
The once desolate Potsdamer Platz is now a bustling corporate square with shops, restaurants and luxury condominiums.
Catch the latest IMAX movie or German art house film at the Sony Center, a massive retail and entertainment complex located in the heart of Potsdamer Platz.

The Mitte district, formerly part of East Berlin, has become Berlin's city center and a major tourist draw.
The tree-lined Unter den Linden leads to the Pariser Platz promenade and towering Brandenburg Gate - one of Berlin's most treasured and beautiful monuments, especially at night when the gates light up.
The Reichstag is only a block away, and the 360-degree view from the glass dome roof of this German parliament building is worth the long wait in line.

While you're in the neighborhood, check out Tiergarten Park.
Here you'll find the Berlin Zoo, Berlin Philharmonic and some of the most beautiful green spaces and walking paths in the city. The Mitte is also home to the East Berlin art scene, Auguststrasse.
If you're looking for ways to save during your Berlin hotel stay, you'll be happy to know that most of the galleries offer free admission.

The Western Zone of Berlin is considered the more commercial side of the city.
It also hosts the majority of Berlin's businesses, conventions and festivals.
The Ku'Damm (short for Kurfürstendamm) is a popular avenue for its upscale shops, restaurants, bars and nightclubs, as well as the greatest concentration of luxury hotels in Berlin.
Not too far from the Ku'Damm is Schloss Charlottenburg, the largest palace in Berlin.
Despite being burnt to the ground during World Word II, Charlottenburg has been fully restored to its Baroque glory, and both the palace and the grounds are a popular tourist stop.

You many not see it all in one visit, but our Holiday Inn Express Berlin hotels can put you near the major attractions on your list.

Great Position

If you are visiting the city for a concert at the Mercedes Benz Arena -this hotel is perfectly positioned. [Less]
Convenient, Comfortable, Affordable
By Mitch
Located right next to the Mercedes Benz Arena and just a block away from the River Spree in Berlin East. Warshauer Strasse station on the S and U lines is two blocks away and provides convenient [More] public transit access to anywhere in the city. The area around the hotel is safe and walkable. The hotel is clean and the medium sized rooms are decorated in a clean modern style. Restaurant and a Starbuck's on site serve late and have a good beer and wine selection to finish the day. The on-site breakfast--additional cost--is well worth it with typical European style offerings. [Less]
Very pleasant stay
By SG1305
I stayed in this hotel several time for business purposes and I was always happy about the friendly staff, the spaciousness of the room and the modernity of the bathroom. The breakfast is really good [More] as well. One small thing is that my towels had not been changed even when I left them on the floor and my used mug had not been changed after use but it happens sometimes. I really recommend it. [Less]
Convenient location and price
By MGLibrary
Without a doubt the fact that this hotel just opened a month before we arrived made the experience better, you can tell the hotel is new. The rooms are basic, shower was GREAT and huge plus. It's [More] located right along the Spree and was a 3 minute walk from our conference, so this was perfect for us. The wifi sucked, we could not get much work done in our hotel room. The staff was very nice and the rooms clean. For the price, great value for sure. [Less]
Great situation.
By MelB
Sad mix up about cost of stay which was rectified but not too promptly. Very friendly initial reception but took a long time to get to our room. Did not feel reception staff knew Berlin [More] well. Clean and comfortable room but designed for business traveller? No drawer or shelf storage for clothes. Excellent position close to metro, river, Museum Island and Nikolai quarter for charm , food and wandering. [Less]
Good location and very friendly staff
By mudlarklives
Highly recommended as a Berlin hotel. Very close to a U-bahn station and within easy walking distance of Alexanderplatz and the Nikolaiviertel. Staff at reception were very helpful and friendly at [More] all times. The room was comfortable (especially the pillows). The window blind was a bit hard to figure out, but provided total darkness once one did. Breakfast was the usual Holiday Inn Express free-for-all, crowded and noisy. Staff were excellent in keeping up with replenishing the food and clearing the tables. I'm told to say "there should be cakes, though". [Less]
