Featured Berlin Hotels

Today's Berlin is a modern and culturally vibrant city, brimming with beautiful architecture, world-class arts and a thriving nightlife scene.
Not to mention, a profusion of museums, monuments and attractions to explore during your Holiday Inn Express® Berlin hotel stay.

Few vestiges remain of the wall that once divided the German capital, and visitors move freely about the city, often unaware which side they are on. Perhaps the most impressive feat is the speed in which Berlin rebuilt itself.
The once desolate Potsdamer Platz is now a bustling corporate square with shops, restaurants and luxury condominiums.
Catch the latest IMAX movie or German art house film at the Sony Center, a massive retail and entertainment complex located in the heart of Potsdamer Platz.

The Mitte district, formerly part of East Berlin, has become Berlin's city center and a major tourist draw.
The tree-lined Unter den Linden leads to the Pariser Platz promenade and towering Brandenburg Gate - one of Berlin's most treasured and beautiful monuments, especially at night when the gates light up.
The Reichstag is only a block away, and the 360-degree view from the glass dome roof of this German parliament building is worth the long wait in line.

While you're in the neighborhood, check out Tiergarten Park.
Here you'll find the Berlin Zoo, Berlin Philharmonic and some of the most beautiful green spaces and walking paths in the city. The Mitte is also home to the East Berlin art scene, Auguststrasse.
If you're looking for ways to save during your Berlin hotel stay, you'll be happy to know that most of the galleries offer free admission.

The Western Zone of Berlin is considered the more commercial side of the city.
It also hosts the majority of Berlin's businesses, conventions and festivals.
The Ku'Damm (short for Kurfürstendamm) is a popular avenue for its upscale shops, restaurants, bars and nightclubs, as well as the greatest concentration of luxury hotels in Berlin.
Not too far from the Ku'Damm is Schloss Charlottenburg, the largest palace in Berlin.
Despite being burnt to the ground during World Word II, Charlottenburg has been fully restored to its Baroque glory, and both the palace and the grounds are a popular tourist stop.

You many not see it all in one visit, but our Holiday Inn Express Berlin hotels can put you near the major attractions on your list.

Convenient, Affordable, Pleasant
By Roger555
This hotel was excellent except for one minor flaw. It was comfortable, clean, functional, and a relatively short walk from the nearest S-Bahn. There were a couple of restaurants nearby and a grocery [More] across the street. They had a functional lift which is not universal in Europe. Breakfast was well-appointed but very crowded at times and seating was occasionally difficult to find. The one flaw was that they turned off the A/C for the entire building when the temp got cool enough outside so the room got stuffy even with the window opened. For tourists who have been out in the August heat, the A/C needed to work a lot better to be able to be comfortable. The staff were wonderful and accommodating. We were able to store our luggage so we could continue sightseeing after we checked out (before our train). [Less]

The hotel is in a great location. We were able to walk to all of the sites. The hop on hop off bus is within walking distance. The breakfast is great with a large variety of meats, cheeses, [More] breads, cereals and hard boiled eggs. There are plenty of tables in the dining area so there is never a problem getting a seat. They are open till 10:30 which was nice for tired travelers getting over jet lag. The staff all speak English and were very helpful. Good resturants nearby and a grocery market with wine, beer and soft drinks right across the street. Our experience with this hotel has made us want to return next year. [Less]
