My family and I had always stayed at this hotel several times for our visit to Stuttgart and its surroundings. It is off-center but close to highway connections and other facilities (newly opened
REWE supermarket, other food outlets and shops). The hotel itself is basic but offers all you really need.
However, our last stay at the hotel on October 23, 2015, was spoiled by an unaccommodating and rude staff (a lady). In the evening of October 23, 2015, upon returning to our room, we noticed then that there were only three pillows (for three persons) and a couple of those were "soft" ones (so they become flat once the head presses on them). I then called the reception to ask for three additional pillows, saying preferably "firm" ones. The lady on duty that night was not very polite and did not reply positively at first. I explained why we would like to have three additional pillows to her and after a while, she said she could only provide us with two only. I thanked and hanged up the phone but we had to wait nearly 25 minutes for her to knock on our room door. To our surprise, she brought two blankets instead of pillows. Either she misunderstood (not fluent in English) or she deliberately delivered what was not asked to prove a point or something. Despite this, she was very moody and impolite in talking to us. After explaining to her what we had really asked for, she came back and delivered three pillows in a few minutes time. Until this negative experience, we had always find this hotel to be very good for its price and its location. However, after this one unpleasant episode, we are thinking of staying elsewhere for our next trip to Stuttgart.
