Featured Belfast Hotels

Make yourself at home at our hotels in Belfast, Northern Ireland. In no time you'll be strolling the city's Victorian streets and sipping pints of ale in historic pubs.

Climb the spiral staircase in Victoria Square mall to the crowning glass dome. This free perch has wraparound views of Belfast's Victorian spires, framed by rolling green hills to the north and the busy harbor to the west. Our hotels in Belfast are near City Hall, the ornate stone centerpiece of the historic quarter. The surrounding streets lead past redbrick townhomes decked with statues of sphinxes and queens. On weekends, grab lunch from bustling St. George's Market, where locals bargain for artisanal cheeses and fresh-caught fish. If it's a sunny day, spread out with a picnic on the grassy lawns of the Botanic Gardens.

After a good night's sleep in our Belfast hotels, hire a black taxi for a guided private tour of West Belfast. This neighborhood saw the worst of the Troubles, Belfast's prolonged civil strife of the 20th century. You'll pass the ominous Crumlin Road Jail, which once held political prisoners, and the dramatic memorial murals along Falls Road. Guests of our hotels in Belfast find dining deals in the Queen's University Quarter, where a number of restaurants offer fixed-price meals. Hearty Irish fare, such as beef pie or sausage and mashed potatoes, is best enjoyed in a historic Belfast pub. Marvel at the decadent mosaic tiles and carved glass windows of the Crown Liquor Saloon while sipping a pint of Guinness, the quintessential Irish brew.

Stay at our Holiday Inn Express® Belfast hotels to explore this city's dynamic history, from the high Victorian architecture in the city center to the heartfelt memorials to the fallen in West Belfast.

Great nights sleep

Good value for money hotel. The room and shower, a good size. I took a point off cleanliness as shower had mould in corner and between fittings which I felt could have been easily cleaed with mould [More] remover and a toothbrush. We booked the double with a sofa bed as it was the same price as a double so might have been a bit bigger than a double. Bed and bedding so comfortable and clean. I am looking to buy the pillows used by Holiday Inns. Check in was great as we arrived at 11am and were given our room straight away. Plenty of choice at breakfast, fruit, yogurt, fry up, toast croissants, serve yourself so have as much or little as you want. Only dissapointment was the hotel is a little out of the way unless you want the university area. It is up a long street which is shabby and has a lot of empty houses, the others are offices and I think student accomodation. The street was quite though and did not have people just hanging around. About a mile and qaurter to centre. Buy a £3.40 day bus ticket and you can use as many buses as you like to get around. Bus stop at end of street Maddisons round the corner has cocktails for £3 and do lovely meals.I will use the other Holiday Inn on my next trip to Belfast as it is closer to centre. Holiday Inn Express good value if you like and are planning on walking though [Less]
