Featured Glasgow Hotels

With locations in both the popular City Center and the scenic Scottish countryside, our Glasgow hotels are perfectly situated to meet the needs of both business and leisure travelers.

Use our convenient Glasgow hotel guide to find the perfect Holiday Inn Express® hotel for your next trip.

Glasgow is a major hub for commerce, tourism and culture in the United Kingdom.
It's also known for its beautiful parks, quirky shops and restaurants, and distinctive architecture - a mix of both Victorian and modern styles.
Greater Glasgow is a sprawling area (approximately 80 square miles); however the central area is quite compact, making it easy for guests of our downtown Glasgow hotels to get around.
You can easily walk to both the City Center, the commercial heart of Glasgow, and popular West End District.

Within the City Center, you'll find both historic Merchant City and the Blythswood Hill financial district.
Be sure to check out the Gallery of Modern Art in Royal Exchange Square, and the Glasgow Cathedral, an excellent example of the city's Gothic architecture.
The Clyde Auditorium, or the "Armadillo" to native Glaswegians, is adjacent to the Scottish Exhibition and Conference Center and offers a variety of concert options, while the Theatre Royal is home to famous Broadway musicals and West End productions.

Looking to experience the city's more bohemian side during your Glasgow hotel stay?
Then the West End is a definite stop on your itinerary.
Here you'll find an eclectic mix of shops, restaurants and cafes, as well as lively pubs and bars surround the University of Glasgow campus.
The Kelvingrove Art Gallery & Museum is one of the most celebrated attractions in the UK, boasting many fine paintings and sculptures, including works from Rembrandt, Van Gogh, Monet and Whistler, medieval relics and more.

The Botanical Gardens are a pleasant way to spend the day, and with regular subways connecting the West End to Ibrox Stadium, home to the Glasgow Rangers soccer team, you can also experience Scotland's favorite past time during your visit.

Of course, this is only a small sampling of what this great city has to offer.
You may have to plan an extra trip to take in all the sites, sounds and flavors of Scotland's 2nd city - and our Glasgow hotels are always ready to welcome you.

Top Class Stirling
By Colin
This hotel on the outskirts of Stirling is ideal place to stay when visiting the central belt. Our visit was a leisurely weekend and with public travel easily accessible you can leave your car at [More] the hotel and visit Edinburgh or Glasgow hassle free, or with many local attractions at hand again easily accessible. Overall an excellent hotel with first class facilities, experienced and knowledgeable staff and a great place to stay. [Less]

Great staff with 1 exception
By Ianek
Stayed here for 5 nights recently. The staff in general were really nice, very friendly, efficient and helpful. I had an issue with 1 member of staff which the management dealt with immediately. He [More] was not representative of all the other staff. Generally a good experience. Only downside was the lack of hanging facilities (not for the 1 member of staff--clothes hangers!) There were 2 adults and 1 12 year old in the same room and the 5 or 6 hangers just weren't enough. New design is fine for 1 or 2 night stays but for 2+ people on a longer stay you will struggle with space for clothes. [Less]

Good value for money
By Morris
A very convenient place to stay for access to Strathclyde Park and restaurants. Very clean and wellcoming. The roadworks at junction 5 were a little difficult but not too bad. Plenty of parking and [More] good breakfast. Its worth talking to a person to make your booking as they can explain how to get a cheaper deal. Would definitely stay again. [Less]
Clean room friendly staff
By weekendwanderer)(
Clean room and friendly staff, average breakfast plenty of volume. Room was quiet but very warm for our liking which meant we woke up during the night. I couldn't work out how to turn the heating [More] down so opened a window. The bed was comfortable and also quite hot under my body. Everything was in place for a comfortable nights rest. [Less]
Comfortable for the price
By Dereck
Breakfast: On our second morning breakfast was an absolute disgrace. There far to many guests all trying to have breakfast when there was clearly not enough of the following: Plates, knives and [More] folks, tables and staff to cope with the demand. One of the two coffee machines did not work; it was the same when we stayed there in January 2017. One of the two fruit drink machines was dispensing water. There was a shortage of scrambled eggs, again not enough for the amount of guests. Not a great experience. With that said we were given a free night which although did not make up for the breakfast experience was welcome. At the start of 2017 it was our plan to stay at this hotel every few months throughout the next few years but a rethink is now needed. [Less]
