Relax in one of our Holiday Inn Express® hotels in Norwich. In minutes you'll be wending your way through medieval streets or ducking into a welcoming pub.

Our Norwich hotels are just minutes from the imposing Norman keep of Norwich Castle. Explore the arched interiors of the keep, then descend to street level and wind your way to the Norwich Market. One of the largest in the U.K., the Norwich Market has stood on this site for nearly a thousand years, and stalls selling everything from jewelry to roast hogs continue to do a brisk business. Hunt for bargains like secondhand books and vintage clothing from among the nearly 200 market stalls. Look for the spindly spire of Norwich Cathedral, a few blocks northeast and close to our hotels in Norwich, which extends majestically skywards and can be seen from all over the city.

As a guest at our Norwich hotels, it's easy to grab a quick bite in a Norwich Market food stall. Or head over to Prince of Wales Road, which has a large number of inexpensive restaurants selling everything from Greek food to curry. Norfolk's dry weather means that the city dines alfresco whenever possible. Gastropub beer gardens are the perfect place to enjoy some of the region's top-quality craft beers on a sun-splashed afternoon.

Book a stay in our Norwich hotels to explore nearby Norfolk Broads. This massive area of shallow rivers and lakes is dotted with windmills and is the perfect place to take a quiet trip out on the water and see the unique birds and animals that call the Broads home. Enjoy the calm peace of Norfolk's backcountry, within minutes of our hotels in Norwich.

A quick stop
By Matt88
Cracking hotel, looks a little tired as you approach but I can assure you it’s nice and clean inside. The bedrooms are very clean and modern, however the bathroom is tiny, and poorly [More] designed. Breakfast was good and the staff were very helpful. Stayed here for one night with work, but would happily come back. [Less]
Nice stay

Lovely place to stay nice big bed the only thing that let it down was the fried breakfast tasted a bit rubbery but the continental breakfast was fine [Less]
Night away

Very relaxed friendly place to go for the night to just get away.the food service was very nice as well as the soft drinks [Less]
Spacious and comfortable, but rooms noisy
By Lees
Beds are comfy and the room fairly clean. Bathroom appeared fairly recently refitted with walk-in shower; toilets and taps etc all Grohe so good quality. Towels large and fairly soft/fluffy. There [More] was a small anti-slip mat for the shower tray. The hairdryer was decent - a proper one, not just a hot air hose attached to a box in the bathroom. Our room overlooked the car park, but there was no traffic noise. Unfortunately, there seemed to be little sound insulation between rooms - it sounded like one of the neighbours was actually in our bathroom when he was taking a shower, using the WC etc. We also heard clearly the conversation la in neighbouring rooms, and doors slamming when people left their rooms. The breakfast buffet was reasonable, but frequently ran out of fried eggs. £15 is perhaps a tad expensive, so I wouldn’t often eat breakfast at the hotel (there’s a small supermarket just around the corner where I usually buy a pastry or porrosge pot for my breakfast). The lobby bar has an interesting choice of gins and a range of Fever Tree tonics. I didn’t visit the fitness centre but my partner did and said it was both good and quiet (late Saturday morning). The hotel is located very closely to the Airport park and ride; you can take the bus without parking a car and the ticket is £2.70 per adult. It was great to receive free parking this time rather than £5 per night as previously charged (despite the barrier being up on those previous occasiona. My second 2-night stay in this hotel and it was fine. Not as good as my first stay, and I might look elsewhere next time for a change, but I’d certainly still recommend this hotel if you need something convenient for the airport, or in the North Norwich region, especially if it’s on a good deal. Great service

Good standard for a hotel adjacent to an airport, comfortable bed with a very quite ambiance [Less]
Ready for holiday
By Louf
Stayed with my partner and son the night before catching a flight to Rhodes so we didn’t have to get up super early. The hotel was lovely from the minute we walked in. It was clean and welcoming and [More] the check in staff were lovely. The room was big and spacious. The only issue we had was the weather. As we had a top floor room with a skylight when the heavy rain started there was no sleeping through it. I know you can’t help the weather so this does not reflect on my opinion of the hotel but if it looks like heavy rain during your stay have a lower floor room [Less]
