I was there for work three weeks before the earth quake and I was there for two more weeks after. When the earthquake happened 15 min later I was on the phone making my reservation for the weekend.
as my sons apt had a lot of damage, broken water lines no heat or water. I used my points as a priority member to book the room. the staff there where under a lot of pressure as everything as a bit chaotic, but as I have came to see in my 20 years of dealing with Holiday inn they did there jobs with grace and pride keeping a high standers of excellence with every customer, even the ones that where rude and less that kind. this is why I will always be a customer of there's. I'm not saying that all of my stays have been as good as this one but most are. the hotel was packed and everyone on the staff there went out of there way to do what ever they could to make sure everyone staying there was taken care of, and the poor lady doing breakfast was working none stop. This hotel and there staff should be a must stay if you ever get up to Alaska and corporate should commend the staff on the job they did in this time of need of the people of anchorage Alaska. [Less]
