Featured Phoenix Hotels

Phoenix is the cultural and economic heart of the Southwest, offering guests of our Holiday Inn Express® Phoenix hotels plenty of reasons to get out and explore this fascinating city during their stay. From rich Native American culture and historic neighborhoods to premier golf resorts and ultra-modern sports stadiums, Phoenix doesn't disappoint!

Despite being a largely car-centric city, guests of our downtown Phoenix hotels will find plenty to do and see within walking distance - or a quick light rail commute - of their hotel.

There's an amazing collection of Native American arts and crafts at the Phoenix Art Museum, and Symphony Hall hosts both the Phoenix Symphony and Arizona Opera.

Spend the day wandering around Historic Heritage Square, where you'll find beautiful, ornate turn of the century houses and quaint shops and restaurants.
Be sure to check out the Rosson House Museum's collection of Victorian curiosities before heading to the Arizona Science Center for more modern-day exhibits.

Phoenix's arid climate and barren landscape may make it an odd choice for destination travelers, but you'll find the Sonoran Desert is actually one of the area's biggest draws.
If you have time during your Phoenix hotel stay, hike the trails at Phoenix Mountain Park or get in a few holes at the Boulders, where rugged terrain, dramatic rock formations and frequent bobcat and coyote sightings are just a few of the challenges in store on these courses.
For a truly unique experience, head to the Pueblo Grande Museum and Archaeological Park.
Built on the ruins of a Hohokam village, you'll find an amazing collection of Hopi Kachina dolls and Native American pottery.

Another worthwhile venture - checking out Phoenix's celebrated sports venues. The Arizona Cardinals' University of Phoenix Stadium is perhaps the most famous with its retractable roof and rollout field, while Chase Field, home to the Diamondbacks, boasts a swimming pool right off centerfield!
You can keep cool while watching the Phoenix Suns dominate the court at U.S. Airways Center, then enjoy downtown nightlife, all before returning to your Phoenix hotel.

With locations throughout the city, there's a Holiday Inn Express Phoenix hotel to suit just about every traveler's needs.
So whether you are in town for business or leisure, seeking cultural immersion or just modern conveniences and attractions, we've got your covered.

A great Friday night
By Sharon
I really love this hotel. The staff are top notch. However, as state previously, the bathroom could have been cleaned better. The tub had a rust hole in it. [Less]

Great property in walking distance to many venues
By Lizzie
I frequent this property for work and love the friendly staff, comfortable rooms, safe area and ease to and from the freeway. Bonus is there are tons of restaurants and bars in walking distance! [Less]
Great vacation
By Kate09
This was an awesome way for our extended family to stay together and have a place to be together other than having a room with just beds. We could put the kids robbed and stay up which was great! [More] Bonus is the stocked kitchen, washer and dryer, two bathrooms and comfy seating. The pool areas were awesome... only wish the weather would have cooperated so we could have utilized it more. The only negative I experienced apart from the weather was the lack of restaurants and/or any food on premises. [Less]

Surprising Getaway Spot
By 10sfever
We were sent to this alternative hotel because the one closest to work was already booked. I live in the country so I always ask for a room away from traffic and elevators. The first room overlooked [More] the lobby. You could hear loud men talking even with the door closed. Suli was very helpful in providing a different room. Unfortunately the second room had some kind of humming/motor action. It was worse than the previous room in that it was right there by the desk. Front desk staff came up and agreed Third room was the charm. Some highway traffic but it was minimal. Given the options I couldn't complain. The breakfast was awesome. Very slow service. Very slow. First day my order was wrong and didn't discover until I was already at work. After that it got much better. Such a treat to have a cook to order breakfast with many choices instead of the old, tired eggs from a package. Nice touch. Our waitress Angela was very attentive when we had her - the guy not so much. She always offered us bottled water to go as we headed to work. A nice touch, and she will be fondly remembered for the extra effort. [Less]
