I always enjoy my stay at HIE in Monticello, as I am a guest several times through out the year.
I do see some things that could improve the quality of this location.
On the 2nd floor (for quite
sometime now) the signage directs guests to the vending area, only to arrive to an empty room? If updated signage was installed that would direct guests where to go to the nearest vending room (ice, beverages, snacks) it would avoid having to roam the halls to locate the actual area.
Also-this time I stayed in room 219 (I had requested rm 232 on my online reservation due to my last stay in that room) and the air vent cover is either broken or jammed. I had to pry my finger through there to adjust the settings. The Refrigerator cabinet door needs an adjustment as well.
These are minor things, but could easily be corrected with an inspection from management. [Less]
