Book your stay at one of our Holiday Inn Express® Sacramento hotels and experience the timeless charm and modern appeal of California's capital city.
Guests of our downtown Sacramento hotels will enjoy convenient access to the State Capitol area. Spend the day wandering around the beautiful gardens, groves and memorials of Capitol Park or head to the Capitol Museum to learn all about California's rich culture and history. The Capitol Building itself is an attraction with soaring Corinthian columns and an impressive dome structure that was modeled after the U.S. Capitol in Washington, D.C. While you're in the area, check out the Crocker Art Museum and Caesar Chavez Park. Local bands play every Friday in the summer as part of the Concerts in the Park series, so if you're visiting one of our Sacramento hotels then, you're set on evening entertainment.
Next, head to Old Sacramento, where you'll find everything from landmark buildings and horse-drawn stagecoaches to dining and entertainment options. Highlights include the beautifully restored locomotives of the California State Railroad Museum and the tunnels of the Old Sac Underground. History buffs will also want to check out Sutter's Fort, the pioneer settlement from which Sacramento sprang, and the State Indian Museum. For a truly unique experience, book one of our Sacramento hotels during Gold Rush Days, an annual Labor Day festival that sees the streets of Old Sacramento turned into the Wild West yet again.
If you prefer present-day diversions; don't worry. This city has something for you too. Catch the Sacramento Kings play at Arco Arena or a big name concert at the Sacramento Convention Center. There's dozens of restaurants within walking distance of your Sacramento hotel, from Asian fusion to continental with flair. The area around J Street is known for its upscale clubs and lounges, but there are also plenty of bars and brewhouses to satisfy all your nightlife needs.
Start planning what is sure to be an unforgettable trip and book your stay in our Holiday Inn Express Sacramento hotels today.

Nice hotel. Some staff not exactly welcoming
The hotel is nice and has a lot of amenities. This is our second time staying at this property. Both times we have had a lady at the front desk be just not as hospitable as you would like. The[More] gentleman that was working helped us when the key stopped working was friendly though. He helped us again the next morning as well.[Less]
One of the best in the area!! I really enjoyed the non smoking property and great staff. Property was very clean and didn't see any sketchy stuff around the property just business or vacation people[More] as I'd like to see at my hotel![Less]

Best place in Folsom
I am so happy to have found this hotel. More than I expected. Comfortable, well maintained and convenient to everything I needed. Would recommend Staybridge Suites to anyone and everyone Amazing[More] staff who is willing and ready to step up and lend a hand.[Less]
While everything was a great experience staying at this hotel I only have one little issue. The buffet was a bit over priced for what is offered. If a hotel guest chooses to eat the buffet than I[More] think the price would be fair at $9.99 per person and kids under 10 $4.99. The price charged was to much for what little choices are offered at the buffet. I should have looked first at the buffet and I probably would have order from the menu instead based on the price.[Less]
