Short stay at CP SFO
By cer21231
For a quick overnight stay near SFO the Crowne Plaza is certainly adequate. The exterior of the building doesn't do the interior justice. During my stay in early October the traffic pattern around [More] the hotel district was a mess. Tons of construction and road closures that made GPS worthless, so whether your driving yourself or taking an Uber, be alert to detour signs that should get you to the hotel. [Less]

I was at the hotel for a conference and ate almost all meals at the hotel. Need more variety. [Less]

Perfectly comfortable Experience
By PearlOGP
I was only staying for one night but it was quite nice. My only difficulties arose not from the hotel but trying to get from San Jose Airport to the hotel. Signage clarity is not a high point in [More] San Jose - there would be the sign right where you were suddenly supposed to be veering left. Names also change several times for the same street which was also confusing. But the hotel was a welcome oasis. [Less]

Some areas show the age, a refresh would help. Other than that it is a good typical Holiday Inn Express [Less]

midwest guest

Michelle, the front desk person, was Awesome as well as the other staff members. We stayed 5 nights and were well taken care of. We were on the first floor toward the back of the building and it [More] was very quiet. The breakfast was great and the breakfast staff was very attentive. The hotel location is perfect to get on San Tomas Expressway. There was plenty of free parking right next to the building. Rooms are larger than most hotels we stay in. Grounds are well maintained. It was a great 5 days at that hotel. [Less]
