I made the reservation via the IHG reward program and requested a 1st floor room or near elevator since im traveling with 3 kids under the age of 6. I was not offered that and was placed in room 305
which is close to the end of the building. With luggage and stroller it was an issue. When I arrived at the room, there was existing damage with missing drawer knob, desk chair arm peeling and the window panel had a stain which look like no one attempted to clean it and been saturated for quite some time. The water in the tub did bot go down so as your showering the tub filling up. There was a dry blood stain that was visible and called Cici who luckily oersonally came to change it. For what one pays to stay at the Holiday Inn, I would think more care in their hotel would be their goal. Im not staying at a budget sleezy motel but in this visit I did. Also the bed is hard compare to other Holiday InnI visited. It was nice having an indoor pool. Also there should be security patrolling since there was a vehicle parked in handicap with no disabled plates or window placard and someone who truly needs it has to parked in the back. I address this concern to the front and they simply disregarded it. Why would they ask for vehicle information, if they cannot follow up and contact owner at of courtesy.
The latina in the breakfast area was attentive, checked on guests, clear plates and made sure everything was full and overall a great experience. Monique and Cici are good as well [Less]
