Featured Fort Myers Hotels

Unwind at our Holiday Inn Express® hotels in Fort Myers. Before you know it you'll be relaxing in the sunshine on Fort Myers Beach and sipping a cocktail at sunset.

Fort Myers has been drawing winter-weary visitors for centuries. Our hotels in Fort Myers are near the sprawling Edison and Ford Winter Estates, where the two inventive men relaxed in the sunshine by their in-ground pool-a new invention at the time-and conjured up ideas in their laboratory. The Caloosahatchee River runs past both estates and the Calusa Nature Center, where tidy boardwalks wend through lush palms and swamps. Park visitors can spy fishing egrets and lazy alligators among the mangrove trees.

Start your Florida evening with a citrus juice cocktail and live music at bars in Fort Myers Beach and nearby Sanibel Island. Expect a musical mix of calypso drums, Jimmy Buffet's laid-back hits and maybe a few Bob Marley tunes. Our Fort Myers hotels are near waterside restaurants that buy the catch of the day from Gulf Coast fishermen. Fill up on generous plates of fresh ahi tuna, grouper, shrimp and crab paired with crisp vegetables grown on farms in nearby central Florida.

Stay at our Holiday Inn Express hotels in Fort Myers and enjoy the best of the Gulf Coast's beaches. Take off your shoes and walk through the warm sand just minutes from our Fort Myers hotels. Miles of golden sand stretch as far as the eye can see and the calm Gulf of Mexico waters are ideal for swimming. To the west, Sanibel Island's seashell-rich strand draws beachcombers, and a lighthouse from 1884 makes for a perfect Florida photo-op. At day's end, both beaches make a great spot for watching the brilliant sunset sink behind the Gulf.

Very comfortable stay.
By DianaA
Second time we have stayed here. This time we took two, interconnecting rooms on the 4th floor. The rooms were quiet, apart from the AC unit which was rather antiquated and the explosively operated [More] water flush on the toilets in all rooms. Despite these minor points, the hotel, rooms and staff were excellent and we enjoyed the stay. We would definitely recommend to other travellers. [Less]
Just a few steps from business

While working within walking distance of the hotel, we enjoyed our relaxing time to rest and enjoy this clean, comfy, quiet place. Nice breakfast and super staff! I noticed the manager, kneeling [More] down to talk to a young guest at their eye level - what a nice experience to see. We have stayed many times and look forward to a happy place to get some rest. Just one night but would have stayed longer had we needed to. [Less]

Candlewood is what cost conscious travelers have in mind. The facility is clean, comfortable, and safe. No daily maid service, but that is OK with us. Available kitchen, complementary laundry [More] service, cost conscious pricing and other perks make travel possible. We look for Candlewood properties, particularly when staying three plus nights. Comfortable bed and great service

There were no negatives with our stay. There were a number of members of our group. The front desk took steps to make sure we were situated in same area of the resort. Checking out was done very [More] efficiently. [Less]
a little disappointed
By alex279
We have stayed here several times. We love the location and the great breakfast. The front desk staff has always taken great care of us, upgrading us to the nicest suites. This stay though was not as [More] comfortable. The suite was a fantastic size. One of the queen beds was very comfortable and the other was as hard as a rock. The pillows were too soft or too hard. We would stay again, but we will check the beds before unpacking. [Less]

Nice Stay

Great clean and quiet room with a good location. We were there for a perfect Game showcase for my son. The room was convenient to the fields with plenty of restaurants and stores to serve our needs. [Less]
