Featured Fort Myers Hotels

Unwind at our Holiday Inn Express® hotels in Fort Myers. Before you know it you'll be relaxing in the sunshine on Fort Myers Beach and sipping a cocktail at sunset.

Fort Myers has been drawing winter-weary visitors for centuries. Our hotels in Fort Myers are near the sprawling Edison and Ford Winter Estates, where the two inventive men relaxed in the sunshine by their in-ground pool-a new invention at the time-and conjured up ideas in their laboratory. The Caloosahatchee River runs past both estates and the Calusa Nature Center, where tidy boardwalks wend through lush palms and swamps. Park visitors can spy fishing egrets and lazy alligators among the mangrove trees.

Start your Florida evening with a citrus juice cocktail and live music at bars in Fort Myers Beach and nearby Sanibel Island. Expect a musical mix of calypso drums, Jimmy Buffet's laid-back hits and maybe a few Bob Marley tunes. Our Fort Myers hotels are near waterside restaurants that buy the catch of the day from Gulf Coast fishermen. Fill up on generous plates of fresh ahi tuna, grouper, shrimp and crab paired with crisp vegetables grown on farms in nearby central Florida.

Stay at our Holiday Inn Express hotels in Fort Myers and enjoy the best of the Gulf Coast's beaches. Take off your shoes and walk through the warm sand just minutes from our Fort Myers hotels. Miles of golden sand stretch as far as the eye can see and the calm Gulf of Mexico waters are ideal for swimming. To the west, Sanibel Island's seashell-rich strand draws beachcombers, and a lighthouse from 1884 makes for a perfect Florida photo-op. At day's end, both beaches make a great spot for watching the brilliant sunset sink behind the Gulf.

Comfortable, Safe and Clean
By LiveforSummer
My first impression of this hotel was that there was a very polite staff upon entering the guest services counter. I was there for professional development for my teaching position and enjoyed [More] walking in the cute stores surrounding the town and the good food in the neighboring restaurants. I will definitely visit again soon. This time for leisure perhaps. [Less]

Brock was the bartender on the rooftop. He was calm, attentive, and efficient. We were with a wedding party and he provided excellent service to all that was in his bar. Thank you! [Less]
Great hotel for business travel.
By North Florida
Beautiful hotel with lots of nearby dining options, including two in the building itself. Nice rooms with good views. Although the City of Ft. Myers downtown garbage collection service starts noisily [More] at 5:45 on Monday morning, that's not really the fault of the hotel. Very pleasant staff, well appointed, etc. Pretty much what you'd expect of a quality downtown hotel. My only real gripe is that the bed pillows are perhaps the least comfortable I've ever slept on. Small, hard, square little bricks. Budget motel pillows are luxurious in comparison. Bring your own pillow!!! [Less]

Not so relaxing
By Escape4
Stayed 2 nights in Fort Myers as a short get away. Crowne Plaza staff were very welcoming. Unfortunately, the air conditioner was extremely loud and the refrigerator cycled everytime the air [More] conditioner cycled off, so there was a constant noise. Came for a chance to relax, but without room darkening curtains the early bright sunshine came in a daybreak, very annoying. Between the sun and the sounds at night , no rest. Housekeeping very loud in hallway at 8 am. Dogs in outside dining area and smokers, did not feel like it was appropriate. Should have designated areas. [Less]
