Convenient to UF and the local hospitals
By Falconheart
This was a good place to stay. The food was good, and it's conveniently located for access to local places to go. The air conditioner ran a lot, but this is FL, so it was expected. The staff was [More] friendly at checkin and checkout as well as the breakfast crew. [Less]

Comfortable room and attentive staff.

After traveling in excessive rain for over six hours, I was pleased to find this hotel on short notice. I was able to grab a comforting meal right next door and then return to relax in my room. [More] After a light breakfast the next day, I was back on the road, refreshed and relaxed. [Less]
Nice Hotel in a convenient location to UF
By Larry1
Overall I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. It is well maintained, has a rooftop pool, and the staff is very friendly. The best part is that you are on the corner of the University of Florida campus, [More] which means that you can park once, and walk the campus the rest of the day. The only downside I encountered was the breakfast which was both not free and not at all good. [Less]
Great place to stay close to campus

Enjoyed staying here overall very comfortable beds and spacious room. The fitness room definitely could be updated, not very good, but the pool area is great! [Less]
Excellent Customer Service
Linda, the Guest Services Manager, and the front desk staff were very friendly and efficient. During my stay, they didn't have someone available to drive the shuttle so they offered to have a car [More] service take me where I needed to go at no charge. Since parking around the UF campus is extremely challenging, the free shuttle service is very important to me. Also, I have a student at UF and the location of this hotel is a real plus to me. In addition, they have a great restaurant next door that is one of my favorites! I come to Gainesville several times a year and I always look forward to staying at this hotel. [Less]
