There was a lot of room for improvement in regards to our stay, but honestly, we wanted a decent place that was fun for the kids, was a suite and accessible to Universal. With those requirements I
was totally happy. I will list the pros and cons below.
-private bedroom for adults and fun room with bunkbeds for kids
-kitchen area was very handy
-pool & waterpark seemed clean and had lots of fun features
-a variety of food options
-arcade (kids loved)
-minigolf & basketball also enjoyed by kids
-staff was friendly
-shuttle was handy and we reserved our spots in advance which I was glad we could do
- water was always hot
-enjoyed our meals
-we had someone sleeping on the couch. We had sheets on the pullout, but no blankets. Called every extension on our phone multiple times repeatedly and no one picked up. So just a sheet the first night.
-There were several occasions when we no one picked up the phone when we called front desk, etc. I tried off and on for an hour one night with all the numbers. I think I wanted towels.
-5 people- they gave us 4 bathtowels, 2 facecloths, 2 handtowels. The second day they took our clean facecloths and handtowels out of the cupboard for some reason and left us only with the 4 bath towels.
-wait times for the restaurant or the deli, pizza and coffee shop were long sometimes
-black grout in tub (was supposed to be white)
-very squeaky bedroom door. Silly I know, but it woke the kids in the night
-light burned out in the bathroom
-toilet was constantly running and so noisy
The Cons were annoying, but for us the Pros outweighed them. Especially when you consider the value for our dollar. I would return. [Less]
