Stay in our Holiday Inn Express® hotels in Decatur, Georgia, and explore the charms of this historic small town. Decatur may be part of the Atlanta metropolitan area, but it feels worlds away from the city's urban bustle.
Affordable eateries, casual cafes and shops line the town's main drag, Ponce de Leon Avenue, which spreads out from the historic town center just minutes away from our Decatur hotels. Unwind with a leisurely stroll around the center, anchored by the imposing Old Courthouse on the Square. Inside the 1898 granite courthouse, the DeKalb History Center has free rotating exhibits and a rich trove of Civil War artifacts. The center also maintains a Historic Complex of antebellum structures in nearby Adair Park. Two blocks north of the square and close to our hotels in Decatur, historic Decatur Cemetery sprawls over 54 acres of tree-shaded grounds. Local shops and the Decatur Downtown Development Office offer free walking-tour maps of the town's historic sights. Of course, if faster-paced Atlanta beckons, the MARTA subway departs from the town square to whisk you to downtown Atlanta in minutes.
Our hotels in Decatur put you close to restaurants along Ponce de Leon Avenue. There's no end to the cheap eats here-Raging Burrito is a great spot to snag a hearty meal to go, and at Brick Store Pub you can have a bowl of hearty Brunswick stew and raise a pint with its gregarious regulars. At night, rub shoulders with more locals at Eddie's Attic, an intimate venue featuring acoustic singer-songwriters. Decatur has plenty of shopping diversions along Ponce de Leon Avenue, including an impressive collection of used bookstores.

I actually took the time to do the review, that says it all. I don't do reviews![Less]
We came to this hotel for my husbands birthday weekend. Everything was amazing and all we could say was wow. The pet policy was very important to us as we travel with our fur babies and it was[More] amazing for them also.. There is nothing negative to say about our stay. The room was very clean and believe me I am very picky and have high standards. The décor was amazing. The staff went out of their way to make us feel welcomed and even brought a chocolate cake to our room for my husband. This was the best visit in a hotel I have ever experienced. Is was my first stay at an Indigo property and I was impressed. We will be back and will only stay at this hotel in the future. I have already recommended it to several people. Thanks to the staff for making this a wonderful stay[Less]
Great, but no hot tub
Very good hotel, and attractively priced. Pet friendly, even though I did not travel with one, it was very nice. Just wish the hot tub worked while we were there.[Less]
Comfortable bed and great service.
