Chicago Marathon

Very friendly staff, we were greeted every time we entered the hotel. The breakfast buffet was good with plenty of variety and made it so easy to start the day. It can get a little crowded if the [More] hotel is busy. Coffee and water available in dining area at all times was super convenient. While the rooms are small, the bed was comfortable and we had a great night sleep before the race. The location was close to everything and parking was adjacent to the hotel. [Less]

Just adequate for the business traveler
By Business traveler 038
I travel to Chicago at least once a year and found the hotel and room was clean and basic with no frills. Although the ceiling was high, the small room did feel a little cramped with a queen bed. [More] Rooms definitely were not spacious but I think that might be typical of Chicago. The queen bed was comfortable to get a good night's rest. I was at the end of the hall so it was pretty quiet and I didn't hear other guests talking in the hallway. The hotel is located half a block from a mediocre pizza place and 2 block from a CVS. It has ambiance in terms of history of it's renovation into its current form, but I think over-payed a bit for what you got. Maybe that's just downtown Chicago though, too. There was no pool or gym.
