My overall rating would have been 5 stars except for the fact that we had to change rooms due to a very offensive odor in the bathroom on arrival. After bringing the issue to the attention of the
folks at the front desk it was handled quickly and efficiently. The first room we were in was one that had been upgraded and modernized and except for the odor was a very nice room, but the second room showed signs of heavy wear on the furnishings and an obvious need for attention. Along with a change in room, we were given $20 in vouchers for breakfast the next day, which would have been good if we actually used them.
If I were to stay again, I would definitely ask for one of the upgraded modernized rooms, as the others only qualify for an average rating on my part. I do have to say, the shower had very good water pressure for a hotel, which was appreciated.
This room was paid for with rewards points 20,000, which it seems should have been adjusted due to the downgrade in room. [Less]
