Featured Elkhart Hotels

Enjoy down-home pleasures at one of our Holiday Inn Express® hotels in Elkhart. You'll soon be sharing country lanes with horse-drawn buggies and shopping for hand-made Amish quilts and furniture.

Head into the heart of Amish Country, where black buggies are the only traffic seen for miles around. Just minutes from our Elkhart hotels, an authentic Amish farmstead, Amish Acres, explains the simple lifestyle of the Amish. Here you can tour an Amish home, learn about the community's religious beliefs and ride in a horse-drawn buggy. Transportation of another sort draws visitors to Elkhart's RV Hall of Fame and Museum. The museum collection includes a 1913 Model T trailer, a 1922 canvas tent camper and a 1931 Housecar once owned by actress Mae West.

Look for reasonably priced handcrafted Amish goods at family-owned shops in Elkhart and neighboring communities. Multicolored, hand-stitched crazy quilts and hand-tooled wooden furniture are sold at the Shipshewana Flea Market near our hotels in Elkhart. Local food stores specialize in fresh-baked bread and rich, creamy Amish cheese. Visitors and locals alike flock to Amish Acres for inexpensive family-style meals of fried chicken, country ham, mashed potatoes, buttermilk biscuits and shoofly pie. Downtown Elkhart has more contemporary choices, from Tex-Mex eateries to high-end steakhouses, all within easy access of our Elkhart hotels.

Book a stay at one of our Holiday Inn Express hotels in Elkhart for Northern Indiana's simple homemade pleasures and a big dose of Midwestern hospitality. Visit in summer when the region's fertile farmland fills farmer's markets with locally grown apples, peaches and corn on the cob. Or visit in autumn when the Fighting Irish thrill fans at football games at the nearby University of Notre Dame.

Room itself was well equipped and [More] comfortable. I was very pleased with my stay, and although short this time, I hope to be back for a longer visit in the future. [Less]

great stay

When I was told that I'd have to stay in Goshen I was in need of a hotel. Since the product that I carry needs to be cold, I needed both a fridge and an opportunity to freeze my ice packs. The [More] staff made sure that the room that I was given had a fridge and she offered to take my ice packs and put them in the main freezer. The next day I was able to recover my ice packs and I was ready to go. [Less]

A great nights rest
By BernieDVA
We arrived to find a welcome sign for hockey teams. There were two teams of teenaged boys and their families. I was concerned but needlessly about the noise level during the night. I heard [More] nothing! As a frequent traveler I had the best night's sleep in many nights of travelling. The staff and parents should be highly complimented. This is the first HI Express I've stayed in with a contemporary, open design which I found extremely attractive. [Less]
