ALL Super

My family used to live in Kansas City MO, we stayed here close to Noah's Venue for my cousin's wedding. Really impressed with Overland Park, KS. Very nice town, many shops, restaurants to go to. [More] Hotel was perfect, great slumber! [Less]
Great Nights Sleep
By Brucey64
Over all I enjoyed my visit. Clean facilities and inside and out. Staff was friendly and most helpful. I broke my phone and the night auditor help me locate an open Verizon store. Only complaint was [More] all the unsupervised kids at the pool area and in the lobby. No reflection on Hotel just lazy parenting. [Less]
Nice rooms and great staff

Very nice facility with a wonderful staff. Very helpful and accommodating [Less]
Crowne Plaza KC
By guggie13
Decent enough. People were mostly very nice and helpful. Called front desk a couple times and thought how much the person "did not want to be there". The boredom just came right through the other [More] end. The solution to any problem we had was to throw a Starbucks drink at it. We had sink issues dripping in the bathroom, the shower curtain did not fit the shower rod so did not stop the water from pooling outside of the tub. The A/C was crazy loud and our walls seemed paper thin because we were woken up after 11pm to our new neighbor's TV. [Less]
Fantastic Stay - Clean Room/Great Service
By KCMOGuest
What did we like? Everything! We stayed here for the weekend of Kansas City Comic Con, which was only a block away at Bartle Hall. Even though we already live here in KC, it was so much nicer than [More] trying to fight the traffic every morning and driving home every night. It ended up feeling like a mini-vacation, because we don't come to the downtown area very often. We've always had good experiences with Crown Plazas and other IHG hotels, and so we didn't hesitate to try this location. I have to say, this particular stay exceeded our expectations. Each staff member made us feel valued and welcome, and often anticipated our needs before we asked. My wife is really sensitive about cleanliness, so I appreciate that our room and the hotel in general were clean and fresh. Again, I've never had this problem with IHG hotels, but it's something I look for when reading reviews. I'd like to especially mention Bobby at the bar area. My wife, my sister-in-law, and I had a great time chatting with him and the other guests. Later that evening, we came down for dinner (since the restaurant is closed on Sunday nights) and he took good care of us. The dinner menu here at the hotel is actually better than most of the restaurants in walking distance, which are mostly burgers and pub food—not that we don't enjoy that, but we wanted something different for our last night before going back to our own quarter of KC. We saw Mona almost every morning for breakfast. She and the other waitresses were fantastic! Erma did a wonderful job keeping our room clean. We had some nice conversations with her while we were there. Everyone we encountered was very friendly and professional. We will definitely stay again the next time we have an event downtown! [Less]

A Great Older Hotel
By Randy007
This is an older, historic, hotel, and so has the feel of being in an earlier time. Nevertheless, it includes the usual expected modern amenities. The staff is friendly and was able to answer any [More] questions. We particularly appreciated the business center and made good use of it. Our only disappointment was in the quality of the food for breakfast in the restaurant. [Less]
Vintage Building, Great Location Friendly Staff
By mariond
I came to Kansas City for a convention. The Aladdin won me over with its 1920s charm, comfortable room and most especially the helpful, efficient and ALWAYS cheerful staff. It is an older hotel [More] and a few things gave that away, like slow plumbing. The location meant that nearly everything was a pleasant walk's distance, or accessible by the free streetcar in the Power and Light District. [Less]
It was a good night
