Featured New Orleans Hotels

As a guest of one of our Holiday Inn Express® New Orleans hotels, you'll enjoy the rich history, great music and diverse culture and cuisine of Louisiana's most celebrated city.

Hop on the St. Charles Avenue streetcar and tour the beautiful Southern mansions of the Garden District or spend the day - if not your entire New Orleans hotel stay - wandering the charming streets of the French Quarter.
There's art and antiques on Royal Street, trendy boutiques and gift shops on Magazine Street and lively street performers and musicians in Jackson Square.
Enjoy a cup of chicory coffee and fresh beignets on the patio of Café Du Monde or duck into one of the Quarter's seemingly hole-in-the-wall restaurants for authentic Creole gumbo and spicy jambalaya. Bourbon Street can be a bit of a tourist trap during the day, but once the sun goes down, New Orleans' famous party district earns its reputation.

Enjoy sugary-sweet rum hurricanes and authentic New Orleans jazz as you dance the night away in Bourbon's legendary bars and clubs.

If you're willing to venture out of the city center during your stay at our New Orleans hotels, stop by one of the above-ground cemeteries.
St. Louis is the oldest (dating back to 1789), and its hauntingly beautiful tombs have been featured in major Hollywood movies and works of fiction.
Tour groups are your best and safest bet here; although, carriage tours of the cemetery can be a real treat.
New Orleans carriage drivers are all certified tour guides, and their knowledge of the city's history and culture, as well as their local flavor and spin are far better than any travel book.

Of course, this is only a sampling of what the Big Easy has to offer our New Orleans hotel guests.
Time your visit during Mardi Gras or Jazz Fest to experience the lavish and boisterous festivals that make this city so special.

Good Stay
By bennieb
It was a pleasant stay conveniently located to many attractions. We didn't get to check in until late, but the hotel was at capacity. We were told we would receive a call when the room was ready but [More] never did. Other hotels are very good about letting you know when your room is ready. [Less]

Can't complain at all! It was all around a great experience.!!! [Less]
Excellent stay and service
By Miss V
We truly enjoyed our stay. The guest relations were knowledgeable. Our view from our balcony was spectacular and the beds were very comfortable. I would definitely stay at the Holiday [More] Inn-Downtown/Superdome again. [Less]
Great accommodations and service
By Annie
The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. The full breakfast offers great variety to meet the needs of all. Food is maintained at the right temperature and stocked well. Socials Mon-Wed offer an [More] opportunity to socialize or grab something to eat if on the run. Room is clean and kitchen has basic necessities, except for creamer/sugar for coffee. There is coffee 24/7 available in the lobby. Would definitely stay here again. [Less]
One of my best hotel stays
By linnyvette
This was our first time in NOLA. We were traveling through and needed to stay overnight. The staff greeted us warmly and were very efficient. They gave us recommendations and directions to the [More] trolley and restaurants. The room was beyond wonderful. The layout of the room was great. It was clean and very comfortable. The room did not look or feel like a hotel room. It was more spa-like. I loved the whirlpool tub. Now I have to have on for my house. My only complaint would be the pillow were too small for a king size bed. I would and have already recommend this hotel with this room. [Less]
Great location, affordable price,
By Steph
This hotel is in a perfect location for walking to different restaurants/attractions. They offer a wonderful breakfast each morning and Mon-Wed offer free dinner and drinks. The staff at this hotel [More] are hardworking and incredibly helpful. They offer onsite parking ($40 a night - a little pricey, but it's also very secure). I will Most definitely stay here again, as well as, other locations they have. 5 stars ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ For overall happiness and satisfaction! [Less]

Great place to stay in the French Quarter
By Linda
One of the quietest hotels we've stayed in. We've stayed here multiple times and have never been disappointed. Friendly and accommodating staff. [Less]
Amazing hotel!
By ridiculous2
Loved the staff and the hotel itself was beautiful and conveniently located. Went with a friend to enjoy the French Quarter for a few days and had a great time! We were able to walk everywhere, had a [More] balcony off our room with a little table and chairs (perfect for relaxing, enjoying the weather, and having a few drinks before we ventured out!), and the room was very clean and comfortable. I stay in a ton of hotels because of my job, and this was definitely one I'd recommend and want to stay at in the future! [Less]
