Featured New Orleans Hotels

As a guest of one of our Holiday Inn Express® New Orleans hotels, you'll enjoy the rich history, great music and diverse culture and cuisine of Louisiana's most celebrated city.

Hop on the St. Charles Avenue streetcar and tour the beautiful Southern mansions of the Garden District or spend the day - if not your entire New Orleans hotel stay - wandering the charming streets of the French Quarter.
There's art and antiques on Royal Street, trendy boutiques and gift shops on Magazine Street and lively street performers and musicians in Jackson Square.
Enjoy a cup of chicory coffee and fresh beignets on the patio of Café Du Monde or duck into one of the Quarter's seemingly hole-in-the-wall restaurants for authentic Creole gumbo and spicy jambalaya. Bourbon Street can be a bit of a tourist trap during the day, but once the sun goes down, New Orleans' famous party district earns its reputation.

Enjoy sugary-sweet rum hurricanes and authentic New Orleans jazz as you dance the night away in Bourbon's legendary bars and clubs.

If you're willing to venture out of the city center during your stay at our New Orleans hotels, stop by one of the above-ground cemeteries.
St. Louis is the oldest (dating back to 1789), and its hauntingly beautiful tombs have been featured in major Hollywood movies and works of fiction.
Tour groups are your best and safest bet here; although, carriage tours of the cemetery can be a real treat.
New Orleans carriage drivers are all certified tour guides, and their knowledge of the city's history and culture, as well as their local flavor and spin are far better than any travel book.

Of course, this is only a sampling of what the Big Easy has to offer our New Orleans hotel guests.
Time your visit during Mardi Gras or Jazz Fest to experience the lavish and boisterous festivals that make this city so special.

Great Stay in the Garden District
By MickInNashville
Very nice room, but the AC was so loud that it woke me at times. Nice bed, great bathroom. Staff was excellent. On a down note, the touchscreen on the treadmill in the fitness center didn't work. [More] Very convenient to the St. Charles street car line. [Less]
Long Stay That Worked Out
By Jeff
I have stayed at Candlewood Suites in the past. This time was for around 23 days. I used the kitchen and laundry and had a great room each day for coming back from 12 hour work days. [Less]
Short stay

We were on a cross country move from Colorado to Florida and stopped at Candlewood Suites for one night. Arrive very late (after midnight) and lobby staff was wonderful. She helped us very quickly [More] and got us to our rooms for a much needed rest. The room was clean, newer furniture and appliances, very spacious, comfy bed and pillows and quiet. Great parking lot for large trucks. We were driving a 26' and had no problem finding a spot for it. Excellent place to stay. [Less]

Wedding Guest

This property is very nice. I enjoyed it. The cost for a group was really good. If the cost is around the same when I do return, I would definitely stay at this hotel. [Less]
Excellent Location
By Lynn50
This hotel could not be better for exploring the French Quarter and Bourbon Street. Everything in that area is within walking distance, but the raucous crowds can not be heard from the hotel's [More] location on Dauphine Street. The room was clean, provided a mini-fridge, and was very quiet. The only complaint about the room was the small size of the bathroom. [Less]
Quaint, comfortable centrally located.
By Priscilla
Very charming hotel. Very nice linens and toiletries. We had a very comfortable room. The bathroom was clean but very old and needs work. It was far enough off Bourbon St. that the noise from the [More] partying did not disturb us. We were close enough to most sights to be able to walk to them. [Less]
