Featured Shreveport Hotels

Make yourself at home in our Holiday Inn Express® hotels in Shreveport, the commercial and cultural hub of the Ark-La-Tex region, located along the banks of the Red River.

In springtime, wander rolling paths among thousands of showy pink, white, and purple azalea blooms in the lush gardens of the R.W. Norton Art Gallery, south of downtown. It's always free to visit the gardens and museum, which showcases Frederic Remington's classic paintings of the Old West and evocative landscapes by Thomas Cole. The military muscle of the U.S. Air Force is on display just a short drive from our hotels in Shreveport. Highlights at the Eighth Air Force Museum in Barksdale Air Force Base include a B-52D Stratofortress heavy bomber and a F-84F Thunderstreak fighter-bomber, two of 28 military aircraft on exhibit. Admission is free.

Home to outlet stores and stylish riverside walkways, the sprawling Louisiana Boardwalk lies directly across the Red River in Bossier. Guests of our Shreveport hotels can stroll the waterfront or stop in at an outdoor cafe for a taste of East Texas cowboy country or the bayou flavors of southern Louisiana. Make a beeline for the neon-lit Texas Street Bridge to find the area's best nightlife near our hotels in Shreveport. Karaoke bars, comedy clubs and dance joints featuring live zydeco music are clustered along Texas and Commerce streets in downtown Shreveport. Double down at one of the five glittering riverboat casinos moored along the Red River nearby.

Book a stay at our Shreveport hotels to experience the city's zesty blend of Cajun and Texan cultures. Don't miss the city's Mardi Gras festivities held on two weekends in February. Or visit in June when the countryside is peppered with big, buttery sunflowers, the star of the annual Sunflower Trail & Festival.

Missing promised welcome points
By daiodaddy
All in all our stay here was fine with the exception of two things, our 500 welcome points were not posted and the window in our room would not close completely. The lady at the front desk was [More] very cordial and greeted me as a Platinum guest. She asked if i'd like the welcome gift or the 500 points and I said points please. To date those points have not been credited. Typically they get posted almost immediately so maybe I'm just jumping the gun. The second problem was that our window did not close all the way and would not lock. Since we were on the top floor I wasn't worried from a security perspective but the small gap did allow for some of the noise from the highway to filter into the room. Luckily it wasn't enough to cause a big problem. We did mention it to the front desk as we checked out. Even with these couple of small things I'd still recommend this hotel and stay here again if we're in the area. [Less]
Business Trip Satisfaction
this was a last minute trip and everything exceeded my expectations. I had never stayed at this Holiday In and was a bit concerned like anyone would with a last minute booking. The staff was [More] wonderful! Overall the hotel was clean. I think the bar area needs some updating felt like I went back to the 70's 80's, but the staff exceeded expectations. I will stay here again. [Less]
