Pretty close to excellent.
My last stay was in Martinsburg, WV, for four days. I will say that I am very impressed with this Holiday Inn. The staff was AWESOME! I have been to "fancy" hotels, were the staff was "friendly,"
but it felt like a forced friendly. The folks here, they seemed to genuinely want to be there, and honestly wanted to help you out. The room/suite has to be one of the nicest. The room had a crisp, clean, fresh smell to it. It did not have the usual "hotel room" smell. Nor, did it have an over powering fufu/perfumy heavy air freshener smell. The bed was comfortable, for a hotel bed. For me, it was a bit too soft, granted, I have been told my mattress could pass as a concrete slab. The black out curtains lived up to their name. The only true "short fall" was the living room area was very dim. With all the light fixtures on, one would be hard pressed to read the paper while sitting on the couch. That being the only "issue" during the stay, this hotel gets top marks. I think I have bragged to my friends more about the hotel, then the rest of the trip. Partly because this was the first stay in a suite, and secondly because the hotel is just that good. [Less]
