... and that is a very good thing.
I am a light sleeper. So for me, sleeping in a quiet and dark space is very important. I stayed in a 1-bedroom suite on the third floor, and at night, the
silence was wonderful. The room has blackout curtains that are positioned over curtains that let natural light into the room - so I always had the option of natural light during the day and near total darkness at night.
Everyone who works for this hotel is polite and accommodating. They knew me by name after my first few days there. Good people.
I love the free breakfast! One of the best I've come across. Not just a regular old continental breakfast. No.We're talking eggs, bacon, sausage, oatmeal, pancakes ... every morning. Yup. And coffee. Plenty of coffee. And if you make it downstairs in the early evening, they also have free dinners three nights a week. Those were fine, nothing spectacular, but the fact that they exist at all is pretty neat.
The only reason I rated 'Home Like' and 'Socialize' as four-stars: at the time of my stay the hotel was renovating. Some of the first floor services were interrupted. However, the renovations look fantastic, So good on them for that.
One more thing: my room came with a stovetop, a basic one, and some cookware etc. That was nice. Maybe one day an oven too?
Anyway, great stay overall. Very clean rooms, too. [Less]
