My husband & I have been staying here about once a month for about a year. We go to NH to visit my brother in assisted living, it’s often a trying time.
All the employees have been so helpful. Last
time is just the most recent time. I’m mostly in a wheelchair. When stressed the best place for me is in their wonderful hot tub. They have a lift. For some reason it takes one look at me & just won’t work. This time was normal. I got in under my own power, as it wouldn’t go down. Julie at the front desk came in to see what is wrong. Battery, check, remote, check, read the directions!, check. Found weight is needed on seat to go down. Got it down. She decided to make sure it would go up. Nope. Besides manning the front desk, she sat on the floor by the lift & checked everything, even read the ‘emergency instructions. Promised me over & over she would make sure I got out. I wasn’t worried. Never am when I’m there. Finally in an obscure part of the manual, she found an emergency reset button. Directions on it weren’t easy to find. She did. It worked. We both decided to get me in it & out, before it stopped. It turned what could have been a real hassle & anxiety causing, into an adventure. Every one there is special (last winter the owner/manager even brushed off the snow from everyone’s cars aFter an unexpected snow fall!). Bur, Julie is special. Thanks Julie! [Less]
