Comfortable hotel, great staff (esp Jeremy), favorite neighborhood.
My spouse and I enjoyed a romantic 3 days/2 nights at the Indigo LES. I sent an email to reception for a specific room location request (away from elevators, etc.,) and Jeremy responded right away.
Jeremy also happened to be the person that checked us in. He is professional, welcoming, and has a very sweet demeanor. He combined our two reservations to make our stay seamless and hassle-free. He helped us with a few other things during our stay including ringing us when our friend arrived and offering to accompany him to our room. Always professional and genuinely friendly. A gem. The bellman and other staff and exceptionally friendly as well. We appreciate the young and diverse team that reflects all the qualities of LES.
The Indigo LES is located in the heart of our new favorite NYC neighborhood. It's diverse, young, and vibrant without the hipster pretension or SOHO & Nolita's crowds while still a short stroll to both. Excellent eateries, cafes, shops (check out the only Tokyo Bikes in the US), and bars. Young and older/young at heart would love this neighborhood. The staff certainly reflects the neighborhood qualities.
We reserved a king terrace room to enjoy NYC fall weather and are happy we did. The terrace is huge and a luxury in NYC. The bed was very comfortable with crisp sheets. There's plenty of storage space, a desk (right of the picture), and a large bathroom. Minor detail but we prefer the toiletries here to what's offered at the IHG Intercontiental brand. Plenty of outlets everywhere - catering to the gadgets crowd. Best of all, great sound insulation. We didn't hear our neighbors once. We especially appreciate the insulation between floors. No issue at all with upstairs neighbors walking around like elephants. The property was sold out for our first night and still no noise issue.
We very much enjoyed our stay and thanks again for the great interactions with Jeremy at the front desk. [Less]
