Soak up the spirit of the American Southwest at our Holiday Inn Express® hotels in Santa Fe, New Mexico. In no time you'll be strolling the 400-year-old Plaza, nibbling on chips with fresh guacamole and sipping an ice cold beer with lime.

Swirling leather skirts and beaded headdresses remind visitors of the rich heritage of New Mexico's Native Americans at the Museum of Indian Arts and Culture. Our Santa Fe hotels are close to the New Mexico Museum of Art, where 20,000 artworks form the state's finest collections, from pastel Southwestern landscapes by the Taos Society of Artists to contemporary outdoor sculptures by Luis Jiménez. Nearby St. Francis Cathedral offers a cool afternoon respite from the Santa Fe heat. Rest in the pews beneath white vaulted domes and stained glass windows.

In the central Plaza, you can shop for dried red chiles or jars of green and red salsa, browse the silver jewelry and leather goods sold by Native American artisans or go gallery-hopping. New Mexico is the Southwest's art center, and dozens of galleries display and sell colorful landscape paintings and life-like bronze sculptures. Guests of our hotels in Santa Fe can relax over an icy margarita or a Mexican Dos Equis beer at a patio table just off the Plaza. At dinnertime, fill up on chicken enchiladas or chili con carne with house-made blue corn tortillas.

Stay at one of our Holiday Inn Express hotels in Santa Fe for a trip to the historic heart of the Southwest. Relax within the cool shadows of an adobe courtyard on the Plaza, just a short drive from our Santa Fe hotels. Since the 17th century, travelers have ventured to this square for a cold drink, a hearty lunch and the chance to buy hand-crafted, inexpensive turquoise necklaces and terracotta pots.

Staff on it's toes
By Evan
Fairly nice facility, OK location, all kinds of shopping; also safe despite the busy street and some residential motels nearby.. Good business center. Good breakfast staff. Upper floor room rear [More] very quiet. Convenient parking; elevator and stairs both convenient. I noticed several "Boomer" folks and they seemed comfortable enough here. If you bicycle, there is a "river trail" located in the residential neighborhood behind the 'motel row'. Also, a unique and quirky metal sculpture garden/business is two doors down. [Less]
Nice stay

The rooms were clean and staff was friendly. Would stay here again next time through Santa Fe. [Less]
we stay here every year
By evla
We stay here every summer for the Opera and sometimes when we ski. The rooms are nice and clean although small. The bathroom vanity is tiny for two people's things, but no biggie. Because big leafy [More] trees obscure the hotel sign, drivers unfamiliar with the property may miss it. The staff is always helpful, breakfast is always hot and fresh. Parking is safe and free. Nice Hotel and location

Our family has stayed here several times over the years, its a great location and building. There always seems to be a few things that are not great, but generally we are happy with our stay. [Less]

Spacious rooms, and nice view.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Rooms were quite spacious feeling, and the view at end of building was very nice. Unfortunately weight room was out of service the days we were there, but we were [More] on the go so much anyway. [Less]
