Featured Brooklyn Hotels

Make yourself at home in our Holiday Inn Express® hotels in Brooklyn. You'll soon be strolling beneath the graceful steel strands of the Brooklyn Bridge, enjoying classic New York-style pizza and exploring historic neighborhoods.

Guests of our Brooklyn hotels head for the Promenade, the East River walkway with cinematic Manhattan views. The Statue of Liberty anchors the southern end of New York harbor, while the iconic skyscrapers of downtown Manhattan loom straight ahead. A short walk from the Promenade puts you at the foot of the Brooklyn Bridge, the first bridge to connect Manhattan and Brooklyn. One block up is Grimaldi's, arguably the best pizza in all of New York City.

Our Brooklyn hotels are close to the Park Slope Fifth Avenue shopping and dining strip. Browse for Brooklyn-branded clothing alongside handmade jewelry, chic housewares and quirky children's toys. Scores of affordably priced restaurants fill the dozen blocks between Union and 9th streets. Take your pick from spicy Thai, five-star Italian, or laidback Spanish tapas. Take an evening stroll along the streets east of 5th Avenue, each lined with historic brownstone houses, before settling into a local bar for a pint from the Brooklyn Brewery. Unwind in Prospect Park, just a quick subway ride from our hotels in Brooklyn. Circle the park on the jogging and biking paths, or join a pickup game of Frisbee on Long Meadow. Prospect Park's Bandshell hosts major concerts during the summer-long Celebrate Brooklyn festival.

Stay at our Brooklyn hotels to discover a new side of the city no matter the season. In winter, there's ice skating at Prospect Park's outdoor rink, and sledding and tubing after a good snowfall. The adjacent Brooklyn Botanical Garden explodes in pink and white flowers for the April Cherry Blossom Festival.

Business hotel in the heart of manhattan
By sraghura
The hotel is adjacent to Wall St making this a perfect choice for people that have business in manhattan. Free breakfast and WiFi are definitely to be acknowledged. I was able to eat in peace even [More] though the actual breakfast area is pretty small. My office was across the street and it surely was easy for me to cross the street to go to my office. My first qualm is the street noise - even though I was on the 22nd floor, I could still hear vehicles on the street. My other qualm here was that the curtains in the guest room wouldn't close fully and the flimsy white curtains did a great job of doing nothing to shut down the light from adjacent buildings. Nevertheless, I think I would stay at this hotel again majorly for the convenience that it offers as a business hotel in Manhattan. [Less]
Nice location and very friendly staff
By Gurli K
This hotel is located in a busy neighborhood when it's day time, but in the night it's quiet. The hotel staff (as with the staff at any other IHG hotel I've been at) was super friendly and did their [More] best to make sure I had a great stay. I encountered a few practical problems during my stay, but they were fixed as fast as they could. The breakfast is good and includes many different things, but you might want to wear long sleeves, because it can be quite cold in the breakfast room. [Less]
Welcoming staff and comfortable bed.
By The Brit.
This visit was a birthday present for my wife. We came as a family of four. Myself, my wife and two young boys. She will always remember her 42nd birthday in New York thanks to the [More] professionalism and kindness of the young lady at the front desk. My wife, our two young boys and myself had one of the best nights sleep in a very long time. If there is ever another opportunity of visiting New York again soon, we will definitely be staying at this Holiday Inn Express. The location was so convenient and within walking distance of almost everything in lower Manhattan. Thank you all again for making our stay so very welcome and giving us all such wonderful memories. Excellent Hotel , Customer service like no other!
By Jim2025
I stay at this hotel frequently and I have to say each and every time I am greeted by the most wonderful front desk people, they always recognize my IHG Spire membership giving me update on the [More] latest promotions. This hotel has clean rooms, a great swimming pool and restaurant, but it is the people who work at this hotel including the GM Cathy, Kim, Amy, Key to name a few that will keep you coming back, their dedication to customer service it top notch. I am treated like family every time, the hotel is safe and secure and reasonably priced. I use the free shuttle to the train into NYC as well, nice extra value for your money. I highly recommend the Holiday Inn of Carteret. [Less]

Overnight Business Stay
By niteowl7710
Overall my experience was excellent. I had requested an early check-in, and my room was not ready upon arrival (2pm), but I was offered other available rooms. I chose to wait for the room I had [More] reserved and read the USA Today in the lobby, and received a free upgrade for my patience. The staff was friendly and attentive. The room was everything I needed a room to be to sleep overnight. Bed was comfortable, shower functioned, etc. My only complaint was the in-room Wi-Fi was so slow that it was effectively useless beyond the most basic web applications. [Less]

Great staff and clean room.
By KCChamis
This older hotel (used to be a Crowne Plaza) may need some updating in the furniture departments... but the bed is extremely comfortable, the room is clean and the hotel staff are friendly and [More] accommodating. [Less]
