If I never fly from LaGuardia again I'll be happy to use JFK or Newark. Airport was a MESS. Holiday Inn stopped running their shuttle to airport as they claimed the enterance to airport was closed. [More] Then what were all the other cabs and cars doing? Once we took cabs to hotel, stay was ok. Staff pleasant at front desk and they reimbursed us for cab fare to hotel. Bar had decent food, but service was slooow. [Less]

Exccellent Service

I was stuck at JFK because a suspected terrorism event resulted in my flight's cancellation. I was finally able to resolve my travel problems but it was after 4 am. Danny at the front desk was [More] able to get me a room and secure transportation from the airport. Even though he was extremely busy, he was very kind and patient and he made my terrible night better. He was still at the desk when I checked out more than 6 hours later and he was still friendly and courteous. My stay could not have been better [Less]
Doesn't look like much, but the room was great

I was a little dismayed when I walked in, and when I walked the halls to the room. The room itself felt small and cramped. But everything else was excellent. The service desk was great, and the room [More] might be smaller but it had everything we needed, it was clean and fresh, and the bed was actually the most comfortable bed I slept on the entire week I was on holiday. I would definitely return if I had an early flight out of JFK (which was the main reason I stayed there, because of the shuttle service). [Less]
