Great stay close to State
By TravelCow
This is a great location close to the campus of NCSU. Rooms are clean, even when crowded the hotel is quiet, and the breakfast is always good. We have stayed here for the last 3 years each time we [More] visit our son at State and will stay here (I'm sure) when our daughter starts at Meredith. Can't go wrong with this hotel! [Less]

Nice, clean rooms. Front desk staff, Ms. Kennedy, was extremely pleasant and helpful. Dinner was surprisingly well seasoned and well cooked. Restaurant ambience leaves something to be desired. [Less]
Not as good as in the past
By FrankFromCT
I have a family member who lives in the area. I have stayed at this same hotel several times in the past. I am sure it is just from normal use but things are beginning to signs of wear. My [More] recognition as I rewards club member has decreased. There was a female panhandler out in the parking lot one night upon my return to the hotel. I have had much better stays in the past. I can't say this one was bad but not as good as other stays. [Less]
