Short stay, Clean Hotel, Patricia is a rock-star.. see below!
Great customer service! Patricia is a star at the hotel! Overall appearance is nice, appears to be clean, great variety with breakfast and staff keeps it stocked the entire time they offer the free
breakfast. The parking lot isn't very appealing as there appears to be a camper storage and whatever else you can stick or store there on the corner (which is at the entrance) of the hotel. This makes for poor curb appeal. Then as soon as you get out of your car, you're gonna hear Roosters.. not one but many.. up on the hill there seems to be a plethora of Roosters that do not shut up no matter the time of day. The hotel cannot do anything about it, but if you are sensitive to noise, then take heed to this warning. Luckily our room, 201 was on the opposite side and we couldn't hear them in our room. But, I cannot say the same for others on the side of the hotel near the Roosters. Back to the hotel, the rooms are nice, however the pillows are horrible, did you hear me? HORRIBLE. No options for those who don't want to sleep on a flat pillow and the stiff beds to not help the matter either. We woke with stiff necks and backs and wished we had stayed home. Maybe we're getting old or maybe the beds and pillows need some major attention. The bathroom was clean, the shower made very loud noises while in use and the hot water was limited. We only stayed one night so we dealt with those issues. Overall it was still a good stay, just wanted to advise everyone of the observations. We would stay there again for a one or two night max, but would not consider for longer than that. We just came into town for one day to tour the town and to visit the Casino, so it was accommodating for our needs. [Less]
