Our hotels in Columbus are a short drive from the Ohio Statehouse, a stunning example of 19th-century Greek Revival architecture. Its towering colonnades and expansive skylights welcome you to one of the oldest working state capitols in the nation. Take an early-morning stroll around the Statehouse-it opens at 7am during the week-and then linger for the free 45-minute guided tours. North of downtown, the Ohio State University campus is popular with Buckeye sports fans and home of the Jack Nicklaus Museum, a favorite of golfers of all handicaps.

From our Columbus hotels, guests are just a short drive from the best of the city's dining and entertainment destinations. You can browse the dozen art galleries displaying pottery and paintings by local Ohio artists along North High Street in the Short North Arts District. The downtown Arena District draws sports fans and concertgoers to the Columbus Nationwide Arena. Neighboring sports bars and casual restaurants welcome revelers after each event. In German Village, you can top off a good Bavarian meal of knockwurst and cabbage with a slice of dark German chocolate cake. A refreshing microbrewed nightcap is steps away in the nearby Brewery District and close to our hotels in Columbus.

Book our Holiday Inn Express® Columbus hotels to discover more of this Midwest city's warm hospitality. If you're in town for "Football Saturday" in the autumn, savor the tailgate parties that warm up outside Ohio Stadium before every Buckeye home game. You may even sample a grilled sausage or two before you head for the stadium.

Comfortable hotel
By levans28
This hotel has easy access from Route 23 (kind of hard to access from Wilson Bridge Road) so I recommend going in the Route 23 entrance. Also a little challenging to walk across to the Shops at [More] Worthington - be great if there was a light by the hotel entrance. Maybe someday. But, even with that said, the hotel is very comfortable, very clean, and has staff that go out of their way to be of any service they can be. I love staying here. [Less]

There were workers [More] there getting ready to do something with high rise equipment though and we were glad to be leaving. I would not like to have stayed parked there. [Less]
