Facilities and cleanliness were exceptional! We also received a welcome card since we were celebrating our anniversary. We had a King Suite and the room was massive and clean. I would reco elderly to
be cautious of the transition between entrance flooring and carpet, as the transition was not entirely smooth.
The area where the property could improve the experience is staffing, and I do not mean the front desk. I had two small incidents during the stay. 1) Our room keys wouldn't work after initially getting into the room. We checked in late and asked to have the keys reprogrammed and didn't work again so waited until morning. We went to the front desk and they asked another person to go up and change the batteries in the lock. They said they'd send someone up. So, we went back to the elevator and an employee joined us, but the employee did not say hello, just stood there with us and followed us to the 3rd floor. Lo and behold, that employee was the one sent to assist us. That employee proceeded to the room and checked the room lock and actually said an expletive in front of us and proceeded to say the battery needed to be replaced. Why didn't she take a battery with her as the front desk told her, who knows? She proceeded to get 2 others involved in the task. Total time it took us through the process about 20-25 minutes. 2) On a Saturday I showed up for breakfast at 9:20am and proceeded to get items to take back to our room. I hit the pancake button to make a couple of pancakes. I turned around and the staff turned the machine off in the process with no pancakes made. I realize cleaning up is necessary but before breakfast is set to be done at 9:30? Also, there was a sign out that room trays were available but when I asked there were none. Simply remove the sign if none are available.
Would I recommend this property? Yes. What would I do to ensure all guests enjoy the experience to the fullest extent? I would recommend general staffing be trained better in friendliness and customer service. [Less]
