unfriendly welcome at Anderson Holiday Inn
By award winner
We were favorably impressed with the appearance of the hotel and grounds as we pulled into the parking lot, but when we arrived in the lobby, the young woman who handled our check-in was barely [More] civil. I noticed that we were not provided with the same check-in information given to the couple next to us. In short, the clerk appeared upset about something. In addition, when I asked if the materials from the conference were in the room, I was told that the material had been delivered (it was around 3 p.m.). They had not. When I returned to the lobby to let the front desk know that the materials were not in the room, the same desk clerk snapped that they were at that moment being processed. There was no explanation or apology provided for the earlier misinformation, just a curt reply. [Less]

A modern, up to date hotel. Terrific breakfast in a very attractive setting. The guest room was comfortable and roomy. Joey at front desk issued a warm greeting when we checked in and provided [More] information to a local restaurant, J. Peters, where we went for dinner. It was outstanding. [Less]

Reunion
By LEYP
We stayed here for my husband's 50th year college reunion. The staff were accommodating. The facility was clean. The breakfast had numerous offerings but the pancake machine needed a little more [More] explanation. Our room was clean, comfortable, smelled fresh without an overpowering odor. We will definitely stay at Holiday Inn Express facilities again! [Less]
Great place to stay in Anderson
By Calebsbama
This was our first time to stay in a Holiday Inn Express and it was a great experience from check-in to check-out. The front desk clerk was very accommodating. The young man on night duty offered to [More] make us cookies and was very friendly. My husband had teasingly asked him where the cookies were when he made this offer. We really did not want any. The room was nicely furnished with everything we needed although we could hear noise in the hall easily. Unfortunately the shower curtain did not work well for us and water leaked out. Maybe we needed to put both parts inside the tub. I was amazed at the selection of food available for breakfast. The eggs did run out before my husband got any but probably we could have asked and gotten some. We just did not have time to do it. Checkout was a breeze. Overall this was an excellent experience.
