We were favorably impressed with the appearance of the hotel and grounds as we pulled into the parking lot, but when we arrived in the lobby, the young woman who handled our check-in was barely
civil. I noticed that we were not provided with the same check-in information given to the couple next to us. In short, the clerk appeared upset about something.
In addition, when I asked if the materials from the conference were in the room, I was told that the material had been delivered (it was around 3 p.m.). They had not. When I returned to the lobby to let the front desk know that the materials were not in the room, the same desk clerk snapped that they were at that moment being processed. There was no explanation or apology provided for the earlier misinformation, just a curt reply. [Less]
