This small foothills city is big on history. Our Greer hotels are near the downtown National Historic District, known as Greer Station, 12 square blocks of vintage commercial buildings from the city's heyday as a railway hub and textile center. Stop by the Greer Heritage Museum in the town's 1935 post office building, and admire the old postmaster peepholes and WPA-era mural. The museum is the starting point for a free self-guided walking tour of downtown Greer, where historic turn-of-the-20th-century buildings have been reborn as shops and cafes.
